Wajo, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Ketua Lembaga Badan Pemantau Kebijakan Publik (L-BPKP) Kabupaten Wajo, Andi Ahmad Sumitro, S.Sos, secara resmi mengadukan sejumlah lokasi tambang yang diduga tidak memiliki dokumen lengkap (Ilegal) di Polres Wajo. Jumat, (25/07/25) sekira pukul 15.10 WITA
Surat Aduan L-BPKP Wajo dengan nomor : 01/L-BPKP-WJ/VII/2025, di serahkan langsung di ruangan Kasi Umum Polres Wajo, dan diterima oleh petugas piket staf Kasium Polres Wajo, Bripka. Junardi, SH tertanggal 24 Juli 2024
” Hari ini, kami dari L-BPKP Kabupaten Wajo menyampaikan aduan sekaligus permohonan tindakan tegas terhadap aktivitas tambang Galian C yang kami duga tidak memiliki izin sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku,” ucap Andi Sumi, Kepada ENews Indonesia, usai melakukan pelaporan. Jumat, (25/07/25).
Aktivitas tambang yang diduga ilegal ini berpotensi menimbulkan kerusakan lingkungan, ketimpangan sosial, serta pelanggaran terhadap prinsip hukum dan tata kelola sumber daya alam yang berkelanjutan.
” Masyarakat sekitar mengkhawatirkan terganggunya akses jalan serta meningkatnya potensi bencana ekologis,” ujarnya
Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, Andi Sumi meminta kepada Kepolisian Resor Wajo untuk melakukan penghentian sementara terhadap seluruh aktivitas pertambangan di lokasi-lokasi tersebut.
” Kiranya pihak Polres Wajo menghentikan dulu penambangan itu, hingga pihak pelaksana mampu menunjukkan dokumen perizinan lengkap dan legalitas usaha sesuai ketentuan hukum,” Pintanya

Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan tim L-BPKP lapangan dan informasi dari masyarakat, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan penambangan tersebut diduga belum mengantongi izin resmi dan tidak memiliki dokumen legalitas sebagaimana diatur dalam ketentuan perundang-undangan yang berlaku, antara lain: UU Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Perubahan atas UU Nomor 4 Tahun 2009 tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara, PP Nomor 96 Tahun 2021 tentang Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Usaha Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara, serta Ketentuan lainnya terkait perlindungan dan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup.
Selain itu, L-BPKP Wajo juga mendapati adanya dugaan penyalahgunaan bahan bakar bersubsidi oleh armada yang beroperasi di lokasi penambangan.
” Hal ini bertentangan dengan Pasal 53 hingga Pasal 55 UU Nomor 22 Tahun 2001 tentang Minyak dan Gas Bumi, yang dapat dikenakan sanksi pidana berupa penjara hingga 6 tahun dan denda maksimal Rp.60 miliar,” Tuturnya

Adapun lokasi yang dimaksud, yakni :
– 3 lokasi tambang di Kecamatan Pitumpanua
– 1 lokasi tambang di Kecamatan Sajoanging
– 1 lokasi tambang di Kecamatan Gilireng.
Kelima lokasi tersebut disinyalir menggunakan modus operandi yang sama.
