Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Kota Bandung, Christian Julianto Budiman, menjadi pembina upacara pada Apel Pagi Diklat Pendidikan Karakter di SMP Negeri 10 Bandung, Jumat, 21 November 2025. Apel pagi ini dilakukan serentak oleh para anggota DPRD Kota Bandung di beberapa SMPN.
Di SMPN 10 Bandung, apel pagi dihadiri oleh siswa kelas IX yang sebelumnya telah mendapatkan materi tentang disiplin dan bela negara. Kepada para murid, Christian menekankan pentingnya membangun karakter yang kuat dan memiliki impian bagi siswa SMP.

Christian juga mengajak siswa untuk berani bermimpi setinggi mungkin dan terus berusaha untuk meraih impian tersebut. “Tidak ada yang terlalu tinggi untuk sebuah impian, bermimpilah, bercita-citalah setinggi mungkin, dan dengan impian tersebut akan menggerakkan kita untuk terus berusaha meraihnya,” katanya.
Selain itu, Christian juga mengingatkan siswa untuk tidak melakukan perundungan dan mengajak mereka untuk menjadi bagian dari upaya pencegahan perundungan. “Karakter siswa Kota Bandung harus memiliki karakter siswa yang baik kepada sesama, tahan, hentikan, dan segera laporkan jika kita melihat aksi teman-teman kita yang melakukan bullying, apapun bentuknya,” katanya
