JAKARTA, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Bupati Kolaka Timur, Sulawesi Tenggara, Abdul Azis, telah tiba di Gedung Merah Putih Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), Jakarta, pada Jumat (8/8) pukul 16.23 WIB.
Abdul Azis tiba setelah sebelumnya ditangkap dalam operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) oleh KPK terkait dugaan kasus korupsi.
Berdasarkan pantauan di lokasi, Abdul Azis tiba menggunakan mobil berwarna hitam dan membawa sebuah koper hitam. Berbeda dengan penampilannya saat konferensi pers di Makassar sehari sebelumnya, ia kini terlihat mengenakan masker hitam dan topi putih, serta sempat melambaikan tangan kepada para jurnalis tanpa memberikan pernyataan apa pun.

Kronologi Penangkapan
Penangkapan Abdul Azis dilakukan oleh KPK tak lama setelah dirinya menghadiri Rapat Kerja Nasional (Rakernas) Partai NasDem di Makassar.
Sebelumnya, pada Kamis (7/8) sore, Abdul Azis sempat membantah kabar penangkapannya.
“Alhamdulillah, hari ini saya ada di samping Ahmad Sahroni (Wakil Ketua Komisi III DPR) dalam kondisi baik dan siap untuk menghadiri Rakernas NasDem,” ujarnya kepada jurnalis.

Namun, pada malam harinya, Pelaksana Tugas Deputi Penindakan dan Eksekusi KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu mengonfirmasi bahwa timnya telah melakukan OTT di Sulawesi Tenggara dan menangkap tujuh orang.
Ketujuh orang tersebut, yang terdiri dari aparatur sipil negara dan pihak swasta, diduga terlibat dalam kasus yang berkaitan dengan dana alokasi khusus (DAK) untuk pembangunan rumah sakit.
Saat ini, Abdul Azis sedang menjalani pemeriksaan lebih lanjut di Gedung KPK untuk mendalami keterlibatannya dalam kasus tersebut. Perkembangan informasi lebih lanjut akan diumumkan oleh KPK.
