Sukabumi, Jurnaltipikor.com,-Kepala Desa Bojongkokosan, Dini Rahmawati, menggelar upacara dalam rangka memperingati Hari Juang Siliwangi ke‑80 di Monumen Perjuangan Palagan Bojongkokosan, Kecamatan Parungkuda, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Selasa (09/12/2025).
Upacara dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB dengan penuh khidmat dan dihadiri oleh para pelajar serta aparatur pemerintahan desa dan beberpa organisasi kemasyarakatan.
Hari Juang Siliwangi merupakan peringatan tahunan tanggal 9 Desember untuk mengenang Pertempuran Bojongkokosan di Sukabumi pada 9-12 Desember 1945, di mana pasukan Tentara Keamanan Rakyat (TKR) Siliwangi bersama rakyat Sukabumi gigih melawan tentara Sekutu Inggris, menunjukkan semangat juang luar biasa dan melahirkan semboyan “Siliwangi adalah Rakyat Jabar, Rakyat Jabar adalah Siliwangi”.
Peringatan ini menjadi momentum untuk mengenang pengorbanan para pahlawan dan menginspirasi generasi muda.
Kepala Desa Bojongkokosan, Dini Rahmawati, dalam upacara menyampaikan amanatnya, “Jangan pernah sekali‑kali kita melupakan sejarah. Semangat para pejuang harus kita miliki dan harus tetap tumbuh pada diri kita dalam mengisi kemerdekaan yang sudah diberikan bagi kita semua.”
Dini pun menekankan, akan pentingnya menjaga nilai‑nilai kepahlawanan dan patriotisme di tengah generasi muda.
“Kepada seluruh masyarakat khususnya para generasi muda, pegang teguhlah nilai-nilai kepahlawanan dan patriotosme dalam mengisi hari-hari menuju masa depan,” Tegasnya.
Dini Rahmawati selaku pemimpin upacara di hari Juang Siliwangi memimpin do’a bagi para pejuang kemerdekaan yang gugur di medan pertempuran khususnya para pejuang dibojongkokosan.
“Semoga para pejuang kita yang sudah gugur dalam meraih kemerdekaan Allah berikan rahmatnya dan Allah hadiahkan syurga bagi para pejuang kemerdekaan yang kita cintai,” Pungkasnya.
Kegiatan peringatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat rasa kebanggaan dan semangat juang masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Bojongkokosan serta menginspirasi generasi muda untuk terus melanjutkan cita‑cita para pahlawan.
