Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR— A’wan Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Abdul Muhaimin meminta Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) untuk segera menetapkan tersangka dalam kasus dugaan korupsi penentuan kuota dan penyelenggaraan ibadah haji tahun 2023-2024.
Desakan ini muncul karena KPK menyatakan sedang menelusuri aliran dana kasus ini ke PBNU, yang menurut Abdul, menimbulkan keresahan di internal NU.
“Segera umumkan tersangkanya supaya tidak ada kesan KPK memainkan tempo yang membuat resah internal NU, khususnya warga,” ujar Abdul dalam keterangannya di Jakarta, Sabtu (13/9).

Abdul menegaskan bahwa jika penetapan tersangka tidak segera dilakukan, hal ini dapat merusak reputasi NU sebagai sebuah lembaga. Ia menekankan bahwa dugaan pelaku korupsi haji adalah oknum yang menyalahgunakan nama besar NU untuk kepentingan pribadi atau kelompok.
Meskipun demikian, Abdul memastikan bahwa para kiai NU tetap mendukung penuh KPK untuk mengusut tuntas perkara ini, bahkan jika melibatkan petinggi PBNU. “Telusuri aliran dana dan periksa petinggi PBNU itu tugas KPK. Kami mendukung dan patuhi penegakan hukum,” katanya.
Sebelumnya, KPK telah mengumumkan dimulainya penyidikan kasus ini pada 9 Agustus 2025 dan melibatkan Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan (PPATK) untuk menelusuri aliran dana, termasuk ke PBNU. KPK juga menjelaskan bahwa penelusuran ini bukan upaya untuk mendiskreditkan PBNU, melainkan bagian dari kewajiban untuk memulihkan kerugian keuangan negara.

Pada 11 Agustus 2025, KPK mengumumkan perhitungan awal kerugian negara mencapai lebih dari Rp1 triliun dan telah mencegah tiga orang bepergian ke luar negeri, salah satunya adalah mantan Menteri Agama Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.
Selain itu, Panitia Khusus (Pansus) Angket Haji DPR RI juga menemukan sejumlah kejanggalan dalam penyelenggaraan haji 2024, terutama terkait pembagian kuota tambahan haji yang tidak sesuai dengan Pasal 64 Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2019 tentang Penyelenggaraan Ibadah Haji dan Umrah.(*)
