Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) melakukan penyitaan terhadap 22 unit kendaraan, baik roda dua maupun roda empat, sebagai bagian dari operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) yang dilakukan pada Rabu (20/8) malam.
Operasi ini menargetkan Wakil Menteri Ketenagakerjaan, Immanuel Ebenezer.
Juru Bicara KPK, Budi Prasetyo, dalam konferensi pers hari ini (21/8) menyampaikan bahwa puluhan kendaraan tersebut disita sebagai barang bukti.
Penyitaan ini juga merupakan langkah awal dalam upaya pemulihan kerugian keuangan negara yang diakibatkan dari dugaan pemerasan.
“Penyitaan 22 kendaraan ini merupakan barang bukti dari dugaan tindak pidana pemerasan yang dilakukan oleh Saudara Immanuel Ebenezer terkait pengurusan sertifikasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3),” jelas Budi Prasetyo.

Penyitaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah nyata KPK dalam memulihkan kerugian negara dan memastikan setiap aset yang diperoleh dari tindak pidana korupsi dapat dikembalikan kepada negara.
KPK akan terus melakukan pengembangan penyelidikan untuk menelusuri aset lain yang terkait dengan kasus ini.
