Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Mantan Menteri Perdagangan periode 2015-2016, Thomas Trikasih Lembong atau yang akrab disapa Tom Lembong, menyatakan kesiapannya menghadapi sidang putusan kasus dugaan korupsi importasi gula yang akan digelar di Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi (Tipikor) Jakarta pada Jumat (18/7) mendatang.
Ia mengungkapkan telah berjuang semaksimal mungkin selama persidangan dan menyerahkan sepenuhnya hasil kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa.
“Saya pribadi merasa punya tanggung jawab untuk siap atas segala skenario,” ujar Tom Lembong usai sidang pembacaan duplik di Pengadilan Tipikor Jakarta, Senin (14/7).

Tom Lembong menyadari bahwa dunia saat ini penuh dengan ketidakpastian dan segala kemungkinan dapat terjadi. Oleh karena itu, ia mengaku terus fokus pada proses persidangan, termasuk pembelaan, agar tim penasihat hukum, keluarga, sahabat, dan pemangku kepentingan dapat tetap kondusif dan optimal.
Terlepas dari apa pun putusan yang akan dijatuhkan, Tom Lembong menegaskan bahwa baginya, timnya telah mencapai kemenangan berkat kinerja luar biasa mereka.
“Ya memang luar biasa dan saya sangat terharu, sangat bersyukur ya. Itu yang bisa kami harapkan,” tuturnya.
Sebelumnya, Tom Lembong terseret sebagai terdakwa dalam kasus dugaan korupsi importasi gula di Kementerian Perdagangan pada tahun 2015-2016.

Ia dituntut pidana penjara selama 7 tahun dan denda Rp750 juta, subsider 6 bulan kurungan.
Dalam dakwaannya, Tom Lembong dituduh merugikan keuangan negara sebesar Rp578,1 miliar. Kerugian ini diduga terjadi akibat penerbitan surat pengakuan impor atau persetujuan impor gula kristal mentah periode 2015-2016 kepada 10 perusahaan tanpa dasar rapat koordinasi antarkementerian dan tanpa rekomendasi Kementerian Perindustrian.
Ia juga didakwa memberikan izin impor gula kristal mentah untuk diolah menjadi gula kristal putih kepada perusahaan yang seharusnya tidak berhak, karena merupakan perusahaan gula rafinasi.
Selain itu, Tom Lembong disebutkan tidak menunjuk perusahaan BUMN untuk pengendalian ketersediaan dan stabilisasi harga gula, melainkan menunjuk Induk Koperasi Kartika (Inkopkar), Induk Koperasi Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Inkoppol), Pusat Koperasi Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Puskopol), serta Satuan Koperasi Kesejahteraan Pegawai (SKKP) TNI/Polri.
Atas perbuatannya, Tom Lembong diancam pidana yang diatur dalam Pasal 2 ayat (1) atau Pasal 3 juncto Pasal 18 Undang-Undang Nomor 31 Tahun 1999 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi sebagaimana diubah dan ditambah dengan UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2001 jo. Pasal 55 ayat (1) ke-1 KUHP.
