Ternate, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Ternate secara resmi menahan dua tersangka kasus dugaan tindak pidana korupsi dana hibah Pemerintah Kota Ternate kepada Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Ternate Tahun Anggaran 2018 dan 2019.
Kedua tersangka, mantan Ketua KONI Ternate berinisial LP dan mantan Bendahara KONI Ternate berinisial YI, kini ditahan di Rumah Tahanan (Rutan) Kelas IIB Jambula selama 20 hari ke depan.
Kepala Seksi Tindak Pidana Khusus (Kasi Pidsus) Kejari Ternate, M. Indra Gunawan, menyatakan bahwa penahanan ini merupakan langkah lanjutan setelah pemeriksaan intensif pada Senin, 14 Juli 2025.
“Keduanya hari ini ditahan, kemudian dalam waktu dekat kita akan melakukan proses pelimpahan berkas perkara ke pengadilan,” ujar Indra.

Kasus ini berpusat pada penyalahgunaan dana hibah yang totalnya mencapai Rp7,2 miliar, dengan rincian Rp4,5 miliar pada tahun 2018 dan Rp2,7 miliar pada tahun 2019.
Hasil audit Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) Perwakilan Maluku Utara yang diterima Kejari Ternate pada 27 Maret 2025, menunjukkan adanya kerugian keuangan negara lebih dari Rp800 juta.
“Kerugian itu berkaitan dengan pengelolaan anggaran untuk sejumlah cabang olahraga yang dananya diduga digelapkan oleh para tersangka,” jelas Indra.
Atas perbuatannya, LP dan YI dijerat dengan Pasal 2 dan Pasal 3 Undang-Undang Nomor 31 Tahun 1999 yang telah diubah dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2001 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi, dengan ancaman pidana maksimal 20 tahun penjara. Keduanya telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka sejak 30 April 2025 setelah penyidik menemukan dua alat bukti yang cukup.
Kejari Ternate berkomitmen untuk memastikan proses hukum berjalan transparan dan profesional. Indra juga menegaskan bahwa penyidikan akan terus dikembangkan untuk mengungkap potensi keterlibatan pihak lain.
“Saat ini penyidikan masih berjalan dan kami tidak menutup kemungkinan adanya tersangka baru jika ditemukan alat bukti lain,” pungkasnya.
