Di tengah belum tuntasnya penanganan dua kasus dugaan korupsi besar yang melibatkan institusi ini – pengadaan iklan senilai Rp 409 miliar oleh Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dan dugaan korupsi pemberian kredit ke PT Sritex senilai Rp 543 miliar oleh Kejaksaan Agung – kini muncul kasus baru yang mengejutkan: dugaan pembobolan dana internal oleh seorang karyawan di bank bjb cabang Soreang dengan total kerugian mencapai Rp 2,5 miliar.
Informasi mengenai dugaan penyelewengan ini, yang beredar terbatas di kalangan internal dan sumber terpercaya, mengindikasikan adanya upaya untuk menutupi kasus ini dari publik.
Sumber yang tidak ingin disebutkan namanya mengungkapkan bahwa kasus dugaan fraud ini cukup mengejutkan dan terkesan sangat tertutup.

“Kasus dugaan fraud ini baru belakangan ini diketahui. Total uang yang diambil dari brankas mencapai total Rp 2,5 miliar,” imbuh sumber tersebut.
Kebenaran informasi mengenai dugaan pembobolan ini juga telah dikonfirmasi oleh karyawan bank bjb lainnya. Meskipun detail lengkapnya belum diketahui secara luas, kasus ini mulai ramai dibicarakan di internal. “Saya juga mendengar ada kasus tersebut. Namun bagaimana detail kasus tersebut, saya belum dapat informasi lengkap,” kata karyawan bank bjb tersebut.
