menyatakan, sejumlah kebijakan strategis yang diterapkannya berhasil menurunkan angka kemiskinan di Bandung Barat, hal tersebut disampaikannya kepada awak media,
Dituturkan Hengky Kurniawan, keberhasilan menurunkan angka kemiskinan di Bandung Barat bisa
dicapai melalui intervensi dan kebijakan yang dilakukan.
“Meskipun tantangan tidak mudah tapi kami terus berupaya bagaimana menciptakan peluang kerja, mengurangi beban pengeluaran rakyat dan menambah pemasukan masyarakat,” ujarnya baru-baru ini.
Ditambahkan Hengky Kurniawan, berbagai program Mulai dari program merdeka bersalin, instruksi Bupati yang mengharuskan ASN belanja ke UMKM lokal, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan dari investasi yang masuk sebesar 12 triliun di tahun 2022,” jelasnya.
Ditegaskan Hengky Kurniawan, Pemkab Bandung Barat terus berupaya menciptakan ekosistem UMKM lokal dengan bekerjasama bersama IKEA dan tempat wisata di Bandung Barat.
“Dari petani kopi kita juga berhasil ekspor ke tiga benua. Kepada pelaku UMKM, Petani, dan yang lainnya kita terus dorong peningkatan SDM marketing agar bisa langsung ekspor tanpa perantara dan lebih meluas,” bebernya.

Ditegaskan Hengky Kurniawan, hingga saat ini Pemkab Bandung Barat berhasil melakukan penurunan terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
“Per hari ini data BPS tingkat pengangguran terbuka juga mengalami penurunan dari 11,65 persen menjadi 9,63 persen. Pertumbuhan ekonomi naik dari 3,46 persen menjadi 5,34 persen. Mohon doanya untuk kemajuan Bandung Barat,” pungkasnya.***
