JAMBI, JURNAL TIPIKOR— Kapolda Jambi Irjen Pol. Rusdi Hartono hadiri kegiatan pembinaan personel guna penanggulangan / pencegahan radikalisme dan intoleransi personel Polda Jambi pada Selasa, (06/06/2023).
Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Ballroom Swiss-Bellhotel Jambi tersebut, di hadiri oleh Wakapolda Brigjen Pol. Yudawan Roswinarso, Irwasda Brigjen Pol. Raden Heru Prakoso dan Para Pejabat Utama Polda Jambi.
Dikatakan Kapolda Jambi pada sambutannya, bahwa kegiatan ini dilaksanakan agar dapat menempatkan pemahaman terhadap radikalisme dan intoleransi pada porsi yang adil, agar tidak cenderung memberikan stigma yang negatif terhadap agama tertentu saja.
” Bahaya radikalisme dan intoleransi sudah sangat mengancam integritas bangsa, menimbulkan ketidakstabilan dan merusak kerukunan umat beragama. Paham radikal membuat perubahan politik yang dilakukan secara ekstrem, tidak seharusnya tumbuh dalam bangsa yang berdasarkan Pancasila ini, yang senantiasa menunggu kebangsaan nasional. ” Ucap Kapolda Jambi.

Kapolda Jambi juga meminta agar seluruh anggota Polda Jambi, dapat mewaspadai adanya paham radikalisme di lingkungan tempat tinggal dan tempat bertugas, serta menghindari provokasi berbau sara yang berlindung dibalik kegiatan keagamaan untuk kepentingan kelompok tertentu.
” Sebagai anggota Polri, kita bertugas untuk mencegah penyebaran paham-paham tersebut dan jangan sampai kita terlibat dan terpapar. ” Pungkasnya.
Kegiatan diakhiri dengan pemukulan gong oleh Kapolda Jambi didampingi oleh PJU Polda Jambi dan narasumber, sebagai tanda dibukanya kegiatan pembinaan personel guna penanggulangan / pencegahan radikalisme dan intoleransi personil Polda Jambi.
