JAKARTA, JURNAL TIPIKOR– Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) telah mengirimkan surat permohonan audiensi kepada Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI) Puan Maharani.
Audiensi ini bertujuan untuk membahas Rancangan Undang-Undang tentang Hukum Acara Pidana (RUU KUHAP), menyusul kekhawatiran KPK terkait perkembangan pembahasan RUU tersebut.
Kepala Bagian Perancangan Peraturan Biro Hukum KPK, Imam Akbar Wahyu Nuryamto, menjelaskan bahwa surat permohonan audiensi serta usulan terkait 17 poin masalah RUU KUHAP telah disampaikan kepada Presiden, dengan tembusan kepada Menteri Hukum dan HAM Supratman Andi Agtas pada Selasa (22/7).
“Kami menyampaikan surat audiensi dan usulan tersebut kepada Presiden, cc Menteri Hukum,” ujar Imam di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta.

Imam menambahkan bahwa surat serupa untuk Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani telah disampaikan KPK beberapa waktu lalu, dengan tembusan kepada Ketua Komisi III DPR RI Habiburokhman.
“Kami telah menyampaikan surat ke Ketua DPR RI dengan tembusan Ketua Komisi III DPR. Kami menyampaikan harapan untuk bisa beraudiensi, sekaligus kami menyampaikan pandangan dan usulan atau konfirmasi terhadap rancangan KUHAP yang kami pegang,” jelasnya.
Keputusan KPK untuk bersurat kepada pimpinan negara ini didasari oleh ketidaktahuan lembaga antirasuah tersebut mengenai perkembangan pembahasan RUU KUHAP. Sebelumnya, Ketua KPK Setyo Budiyanto pada Kamis (17/7) mengungkapkan bahwa KPK tidak dilibatkan dalam pembahasan Daftar Inventarisasi Masalah (DIM) RUU KUHAP oleh pemerintah.
Oleh karena itu, KPK telah mengkaji DIM RUU KUHAP yang mereka terima bersama para ahli. Hasil kajian ini akan disampaikan kepada Presiden dan Ketua DPR RI dalam audiensi yang diharapkan dapat segera terlaksana.
RUU KUHAP saat ini sedang dalam pembahasan di Komisi III DPR RI sebagai salah satu RUU prioritas dalam program legislasi nasional tahun 2025.
