JURNAL TIPIKOR – Ketua Komisi D DPRD Kota Bandung, H. Aries Supriyatna, S.H., M.H., mendorong agar peserta didik yang mengikuti jalur afirmasi atau RMP (Rawan Melanjutkan Pendidikan) betul-betul berasal dari kalangan kurang mampu atau miskin ekstrem. Sehingga tujuan dari jalur penerimaan PPDB (Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru) 2024/2025 menjadi tepat sasaran.
Hal tersebut ia sampaikan pada Obrolan Plus Solusi “Hilangkan Resiko Curang di PPDB” di PRfm, Jalan Asia Afrika, Bandung, Jumat, 17 Mei 2024.
Seperti diketahui, proses PPDB akan mulai berlangsung di Kota Bandung dalam waktu dekat ini. Bahkan proses pendataan siswa peserta PPDB saat ini sudah berjalan untuk jalur afirmasi atau RMP.

Lebih jauh, ada empat jalur bagi calon peserta didik untuk mendaftar di PPDB 2024/2025, di antaranya jalur afirmasi, zonasi, perpindahan tugas orang tua dan prestasi.
“Kami mendorong jalur Afirmasi atau RMP itu benar digunakan oleh warga yang kurang mampu atau miskin ekstrem. Karena melalui jalur tersebut pembiayaan dijamin oleh pemerintah,” katanya.
Ia menerangkan, saat ini untuk peserta yang melalui jalur RMP cukup ketat, yakni harus terdaftar di DTKS (Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial). Mengingat kuota untuk jalur afirmasi yakni 30 persen di setiap sekolah.
“Untuk tahun kemarin ada kelonggaran walau belum terdaftar di DTKS tapi ada di Muskel (Musyawarah Kelurahan), maka bisa melalui jalur afirmasi. Tapi untuk sekarang cukup strict (ketat), untuk jalur ini,” ujarnya.

Menurut Aries, dengan kemudahan dari jalur RMP ini banyak orang yang ingin masuk melalui jalur tersebut. Bahkan oleh orang yang mampu yang berambisi memasukkan anaknya ke sekolah negeri.
“Di masyarakat kita itu kebanyakan negeri-minded, padahal jalur RMP bukan pasti masuk ke sekolah negeri. Tetapi pemerintah menjamin pembiayaan pendidikan bagi peserta yang berasal dari warga tidak mampu, baik sekolah di negeri atau swasta” tuturnya.
Oleh karena itu, DPRD Kota Bandung berharap penyelenggaran PPDB dapat memaksimalkan jalur afirmasi bagi warga yang memang membutuhkan. Sehingga hak memperoleh pendidikan dapat dipenuhi dan dirasakan oleh seluruh lapisan mayarakat.
“Dalam hal ini, maka perlu adanya koordinasi dari Disdik dengan Dinsos dan kewilayahan. Agar jalur afirmasi ini dapat digunakan bagi yang berhak dan memang rawan melanjutkan pendidikan,” katanya.*(Rio)
