Satuan Samapta Polres Wajo melaksanakan Patroli di kantor KPU dan gudang penyimpanan Logistik Pemilu di Jalan Bau Baharuddi dan Jl. Sarewegading Sengkang, kec. Tempe, kab. Wajo. Jumat (3/11/2023).
Kapolres Wajo AKBP H. Fatchur Rochman, SH.,MH mengatakan bahwa, kegiatan ini merupakan upaya untuk menjaga situasi kamtibmas tetap aman, sejuk dan kondusif menjelang perhelatan Pemilu 2024 mendatang yang saat ini sudah memasuki tahapan. 
“Melalui Patroli yang dilakukan ini, kami berupaya untuk menjaga keamanan, terutama pada obyek vital seperti kantor penyelenggara Pemilu yang ada diwilayah hukum Polres Wajo”, Terang Kapolres.
