Acara yang dimulai Ba’da Isya sekitar pukul 19.30 s/d selesai dimulai dengan pembukaan, pembacaan Al-Qur’an, pembacaan Sholawat, sambutan-sambutan, pembacaan kalimat Toyyibah, dan diakhiri doa bersama.
Acara yang dibiayai dengan dana swadaya Masyarakat ini berjalan dengan lancar.
Acara peringatan malam 1 Suro ini sudah menjadi tradisi yang diselenggarakan Masyarakat Desa Sodong Basari sudah puluhan tahun dan akan terus dilestarikan.
Bagi Masyarakat acara seperti peringatan malam 1 Suro ini selain untuk melestarikan budaya tradisi luhur nenek moyang, juga untuk mempererat silaturahmi antar warga Masyarakat.
Peringatan malam 1 Suro kali ini menjadi spesial karena sejak September 2022 lalu Sodong Basari menjadi Desa mandiri tidak lagi menjadi bagian dari Desa Sikasur.
