Gubernur Sumatera Selatan H. Herman Deru Dukung Dan Pasilitasi Pelantikan IWO Sumsel Priode 2022-2027
Jurnal Tipikor.com, Palembang –Menindak lanjuti instruksi Ketua Umum Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO), Efran, Ketua terpilih IWO Sumsel periode 2022-2027 dan tim panitia pelantikan melakukan audiensi ke Gubernur Sumsel, H. Herman Deru, S.H., M.M, di Griya Agung Palembang, Rabu, (14/06/2023), malam.
Pada pertemuan itu, selain melaporkan hasil Musyawarah Bersama Wilayah (Mubeswi) ke-1 tahun 2023 IWO Sumsel yang digelar di Hotel Luminor Palembang, Minggu (28 Mei 2023), Efran juga menyampaikan rencana program kerja IWO Sumsel ke depan, sekaligus persiapan pelantikan Pengurus IWO Sumsel periode 2022-2027.
Hal itu disampaikan Efran, beriring dengan instruksi DPP IWO yang pekan sebelumnya, Kamis (01/06/2023), sudah memerintahkan agar Ketua terpilih IWO Sumsel dan tim formaturnya, agar segera menyusun kepengurusan IWO Sumsel periode 2022-2027, sekaligus merancang waktu pelantikan.
“Menindaklanjuti instruksi Pak Ketum DPP IWO sebelumnya, kami melaporkan hal ini kepada Bapak Gubernur Sumsel, untuk mohon izin, juga saran dan masukan, sekaligus memastikan rencana pelantikan pengurus baru IWO Sumsel,” ujar Efran.
Kepada pers di Palembang, Efran mengatakan, kali itu Gubernur Sumsel mengapresiasi positif tentang rencana yang digagas IWO Sumsel, terutama berkaitan dengan pelantikan kepengurusan IWO periode 2022-2027. Efran menyebutkan, atas saran dan izin Gubernur Sumsel, pelantikan akan digelar di Ruang Bina Praja Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Sumsel, pada 4 Juli 2023.
“Kepada Bapak Gubernur, kami melaporkan hasil pemilihan Ketua IWO Sumsel, rancangan program kerja, juga rencana pelantikan. Alhamdulillah, Pak Gubernur sudah memberi izin rencana kami, dan Insya Allah pelantikan akan digelar di Ruang Bina Praja Pemprov Sumsel pada 4 Juli mendatang,” ujar Efran, menyampaikan hasil pertemuannya dengan Gubernur Sumsel, kepada pers di Palembang, Senin (12/06/2023).
Pilihan lokasi pelantikan di Ruang Bina Praja Pemprov Sumsel ini, menurut Efran, sebagaimana dijelaskan Gubernur Sumsel pada saat audiensi, acara ini akan lebih formal sebagaimana acara resmi lainnya.

Ruang Bina Praja juga memiliki kapasitas yang cukup luas, sehingga akan dapat menampung tamu undangan dengan maksimal. Belum lagi, dengan lokasi di Ruang Bina Praja, menurut Efran panitia pelantikan bisa menentukan waktu dan hari pelantikan sesuai keinginan panitia dengan tetap diselaraskan agenda giat Pemprov Sumsel.
“Pak Gubernur menjelaskan dan menyarankan pada kami, pelaksanaan pelantikan di Ruang Bina Praja dengan pertimbangan, ruangannya lebih luas, acara juga akan lebih formal. Selain itu, kata Pak Gubernur, acara di Bina Praja waktunya bisa memilih sesuai keinginan panitia, dengan tetap menyesuaikan agenda pemerintah. Insya Allah, dengan lokasi di Bina Praja juga, kata Pak Gubernur, nantinya acara ini akan difasilitasi Pemprov Sumsel,” tambahnya.
Merespon hal itu, Gubernur Sumsel memberi apresiasi positif atas terpilihnya Efran, sebagai Ketua IWO Sumsel periode 2022-2027.

Sebab, sebagaimana disampaikan pada saat membuka Mubeswil ke-1 tahun 2023 IWO Sumsel di Hotel Luminor Palembang, Minggu, (28 Mei 2023), Gubernur Sumsel menegaskan, wartawan bukan profesi sembarangan, yang siapa saja bisa masuk. Menurutnya, menjadi wartawan membutuhkan persyaratan khusus, baik secara teknis dan non teknis, skill, mental dan intelektual untuk menjaga profesionalitasnya.
“Profesi wartawan itu bukan profesi sembarangan, yang setiap orang bisa jadi wartawan semuanya. Misalnya asal galak jadi wartawan, laju jadi wartawan, idak biso cak itu. Menjadi wartawan itu butuh proses, butuh syarat dan prasyarat, skill, mental dan intelektual. Jadi untuk menjadi wartawan idak biso sembarangan,” tegas Gubernur Sumsel
