Dalam menghadapi arus mudik, Kapolda Kepri Irjen. Pol. Drs. Yan Fitri Halimansyah, M.H., mengingatkan kepada awak kapal untuk selalu melengkapi aspek-aspek keamanan dan keselamatan penumpang mudik dengan mengedepankan *safety and security* yang mana Provinsi Kepri 96% merupakan wilayah perairan, sehingga perlunya tersedia life jacket bagi seluruh penumpang kapal. “Keselamatan adalah prioritas utama, dan kami mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk turut serta dalam menjaga keselamatan diri sendiri dan sesama,” Tutur Kapolda Kepri Irjen.
