Upaya pencarian PLT Ketua DPD Partai Golkar Kubu Raya akhirnya diketemukan berkat kerja keras Tim SAR gabungan dan masyarakat setempat. Senin (15/5/23) pukul 18.49 Wib.
Muhammad Iqbal Zafarullah, yang sebelumnya dilaporkan hilang di Sungai Kapuas, Desa Kuala Dua, Kecamatan Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya ditemukan Tim SAR gabungan di jarak 2 Nautical Mike ke arah hilir dari lokasi awal korban menceburkan dirinya, tepatnya di tikungan perairan klenteng Macau Kumpai Besar.
Kepala Basarnas Pontianak, I Made Junetra mengatakan, ” Korban berhasil ditemukan dalam keadaan meninggal dunia oleh tim SAR Gabungan dengan jarak 2 Nautical Mile dari lokasi kejadian, tepatnya ke arah hilir tikungan perairan klenteng Macau Kumpai Besar,” terang I Made Junetra di lokasi kejadian.

Setelah ditemukan, jenazah muhammad Iqbal langsung dibawa ke posko Tim SAR gabungan dan kemudian diserahkan kepada pihak keluarga. Selanjutnya, korban dibawa ke RS Soedarso guna
dilakukan proses autopsi dengan menggunakan mobil ambulance dan mendapat pengawalan dari Spartan Polres Kubu Raya.
I Made Junetra juga mengatakan, dengan ditemukannya korban, Operasi SAR dinyatakan selesai dan ditutup hari ini.
” Saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam operasi SAR ini. Dan kami semua yang terlibat dalam operasi ini memohon maaf apa bila dalam proses operasi SAR terdapat kekurangan yang mungkin kurang berkenan,” ujarnya.
Kapolres Kubu Raya, AKBP Arief Hidayat, S.H., S.I.K mengatakan, upaya pencarian dalam beberapa hari ini Alhamdulillah membuahkan hasil, dimana jenazah korban dapat di temukan oleh teman – teman Tim SAR gabungan dan masyarakat setempat serta tidak lepas dari doa semua lapisan masyarakat Kabupaten Kubu Raya.
” Saat ini, korban sudah berada di RS. Soedarso untuk dilakukannya proses visum, selanjutnya jenazah korban akan diserahkan kepada pihak keluarga korban,” terang Arief di RS. Soedarso.
