Kegiatan tersebut yang berlangsung di Kelurahan Lakkang, Kecamatan Tallo, mengangkat tema “Pendekatan Holistik Care Pijat Bayi untuk Mengurangi Keluhan Bapil dan Konstipasi pada Bayi”.
Kegiatan yang dimulai sekira pukul 08.30 Wita ini disambut antusias oleh masyarakat setempat, khususnya para ibu yang memiliki bayi dan balita.

“Pijat bayi bukan hanya rutinitas, tapi merupakan bentuk stimulasi yang sangat bermanfaat untuk tumbuh kembang anak. Praktiknya mudah dan bisa dilakukan langsung oleh orang tua di rumah,” jelas Bidan Saleha dalam pemaparannya.
Koordinator Divisi Kemitraan dan Jaringan (Sosial Budaya dan Pengabdian), Lia Amalia, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program kerja pengurus BPI UNHAS yang bertujuan mendekatkan ilmu pengetahuan kepada masyarakat secara aplikatif.
“Kami ingin mengedukasi masyarakat melalui pendekatan sederhana namun berdampak, seperti pijat bayi. Ini adalah bagian dari komitmen kami sebagai penerima manfaat beasiswa untuk memberi kembali kepada masyarakat,” ujar Lia.
Kegiatan ini turut dihadiri oleh Ali Akbar Wahab, selaku Lurah BPI UNHAS, yang memberikan apresiasi kepada para awardee atas kontribusi mereka dalam bidang sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.
“Saya sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan seperti ini yang langsung menyentuh kebutuhan masyarakat. Awardee BPI tidak hanya menunjukkan prestasi akademik, tapi juga kepedulian sosial yang tinggi,” kata Ali Akbar.
Selain edukasi dan praktik pijat bayi, kegiatan ini juga menjadi sarana mempererat hubungan antarawardee, berbagi pengalaman, serta memperkuat jejaring sosial. Kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh awardee lainnya, Ainur Rafiq dan Muh. Arifai, yang turut memberikan dukungan dan semangat terhadap jalannya kegiatan.
Adapun tim pelaksana dari Divisi Kemitraan dan Jaringan (Sosial Budaya dan Pengabdian) terdiri dari Lia Amalia, Tri Widayati Putri, Idhar Darlis, Muh. Mukhtadir Putra, dan Andi Cakra Yusuf.
