Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, memperkenalkan konsep “Kota Solidaritas” (Solidarity Cities) sebagai arah baru pembangunan kota yang inklusif, adil, dan berkelanjutan.
Konsep ini mengusung semangat kebersamaan dan gotong royong untuk menciptakan kota yang berpihak pada semua warga, tanpa terkecuali.
“Kota Solidaritas adalah kota yang menolak sistem yang menyebabkan kemiskinan dan penderitaan, khususnya bagi kelompok yang terpinggirkan seperti imigran dan pengungsi,” kata Farhan pada kegiatan Ice (ITB Counting Education) Podcast di Rektorat ITB, Selasa 20 Mei 2025.
“Di Bandung kami ingin memastikan bahwa setiap orang punya hak yang sama untuk hidup, belajar, bekerja, dan berpartisipasi dalam kehidupan kota, tanpa memandang latar belakang,” tambah Farhan.

Ia mengungkapkan, prinsip utama Kota Solidaritas yaitu akses layanan publik. Setiap warga berhak atas pendidikan, kesehatan, air bersih, dan tempat tinggal yang layak.
“Ada juga Solidaritas Ekonomi dan Keadilan Sosial. Ini menghapus hambatan ekonomi dan sosial melalui kebijakan yang mendorong pemerataan, kolaborasi lokal-global, dan penguatan ekonomi kerakyatan,” bebernya.
Selanjutnya, pengelolaan kota yang dipimpin masyarakat. Mulai dari persampahan, air bersih, penanganan banjir dan pariwisata inklusif.
“Bandung siap jadi kota solidaritas. Kota Bandung memperkuat langkahnya melalui Pembangunan Infrastruktur dan Tata Kelola yang mendukung inklusi dan keadilan sosial,” tuturnya.
“Pembangunan Ekonomi Sosial dengan diplomasi internasional dan kolaborasi global,” imbuhnya.

Farhan mengatakan, tansformasi Kota Bandung menuju Kota Solidaritas juga ditopang oleh kesiapan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM).
Ia menjelaskan, integrasi pengembangan SDM dengan tantangan perkotaan. Mendorong tenaga kerja yang inklusif, adaptif, dan berdaya saing.
Tak hanya itu, akses pelatihan, beasiswa, dan kerja sama internasional. Reformasi birokrasi dan tata kelola yang transparan dan melayani.
“Dengan berpikir sistemik, mengedepankan empati, dan kerja sama dari bawah ke atas, Bandung ingin mengubah tantangan kota menjadi peluang untuk pemberdayaan dan keberlanjutan,” jelasnya Farhan.
Bandung tidak hanya membangun kota, tapi juga membangun harapan. Kota yang menjunjung martabat semua warganya. Kota yang menjadi rumah bagi siapa pun. (yan/Red)
