Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Kota Bandung, Elton Agus Marjan dan Muhamad Syahlevi Erwin Apandi menghadiri Upacara Hari Pendidikan Nasional (Hardiknas) 2025, di Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung, Jumat, 2 Mei 2025.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, juga hadir Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan dan Pj Sekretaris Daerah Kota Bandung Iskandar Zulkarnaen.
Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Kota Bandung, Elton Agus Marjan berharap dengan momentum Hari Pendidikan Nasional, Pemkot Bandung bisa menghadirkan pendidikan yang relatif lebih terjangkau, terutama untuk sekolah swasta. Sehingga seluruh siswa di Kota Bandung dapat tertampung untuk sekolah, baik negeri maupun swasta.
“Kenapa ingin masuk ke sekolah negeri? Karena gratis. Maka kita berharap biaya sekolah yang relatif terjangkau bagi sekolah swasta, selain RMP (Rawan Melanjutkan Pendidikan),” tuturnya.
Elton menerangkan, dengan pemerataan pendidikan, maka siswa tidak terus menargetkan sekolah negeri saja tetapi juga sekolah swasta. Dengan demikian, sekolah swasta ikut memperjuangkan pendidikan di Kota Bandung.
“Mudah-mudahan Pemerintah Kota Bandung bisa menghadirkan pendidikan yang terjangkau, khususnya sekolah swasta. Sehingga masyarakat bisa mengaksesnya,” katanya.
Terkait Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) 2025, DPRD berharap tidak ada lagi penambahan kuota yang tidak semestinya dan berbagai persoalan lainnya di sekolah negeri. Karena berdampak bagi sekolah swasta, yang menggantungkan hidupnya dari siswa.
“Pemkot Bandung maupun Dinas Pendidikan bisa adil baik untuk sekolah negeri maupun swasta. Sehingga terpenuhi kuotanya, dan masyarakat mendapatkan akses pendidikan yang relatif terjangkau,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Kota Bandung, Muhamad Syahlevi Erwin Apandi berharap pendidikan di Kota Bandung yang semakin lebih baik ke depannya. Baik di jenjang SD, SMP, SMA dan SMK.
“Agenda yang terdekat yaitu SPMB, kita berharap masyarakat bisa menempuh pendidikan sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Mudah-mudahan bersama Dinas Pendidikan bisa memberikan yang terbaik bagi warga Kota Bandung,” ucapnya.
Ia juga mendorong jangan sampai ada warga Kota Bandung yang tidak bersekolah, baik di sekolah swasta maupun negeri. Sehingga dalam persiapan SPMB harus dilakukan secara matang dan optimal.
“Kami mendorong agar warga Kota Bandung bisa diterima untuk menempuh pendidikan, baik di negeri maupun swasta,” katanya. (Rio/red)
