JURNAL TIPIKOR – Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, menegaskan Teras Cihampelas adalah fasilitas yang harus diperbaiki dan dioptimalkan karena memiliki potensi besar sebagai pusat bisnis serta kreativitas bagi anak muda Bandung.
Hal itu ia ungkapkan saat melakukan kunjungan ke Teras Cihampelas pada Sabtu, 29 Maret 2025.
“Teras Cihampelas ini potensinya besar. Sudah dibuat sejak zaman Wali Kota Ridwan Kamil, dipelihara oleh Pak Oded, Pak Yana, hingga Plt. Wali Kota Pak Ema. Ini semua adalah warisan yang harus kita optimalkan,” ujar Farhan.
Ia juga mengajak para pelaku usaha muda, khususnya koperasi anak muda yang mengelola Teras Cihampelas, untuk memanfaatkan peluang bisnis seluas-luasnya.
“Silakan cari dan buat peluang sebesar-besarnya. Diskusikan dengan kami. Nanti pemerintah kota, aparat negara, dan aparat hukum akan menjaga keamanan serta titik-titik rawan,” ungkapnya.
Farhan menegaskan, keamanan dan kenyamanan pengunjung menjadi perhatian utama pemerintah. Ia berkomitmen agar Teras Cihampelas dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh seluruh warga Bandung dan wisatawan yang berkunjung.
“Teras Cihampelas ini akan menjadi salah satu tujuan wisata premier di kawasan Bandung,” ujarnya.
