JAKARTA, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Peringatan Hari Antikorupsi Sedunia (Harkodia) pada Desember 2025 kembali diwarnai nada minor dan kritik tajam.
Di tengah gegap gempita seremoni yang digelar, Ketua Umum Badan Pemantau Kebijakan Publik (BPKP), A.Tarmizi, menyampaikan pernyataan menohok yang menggambarkan potret suram penegakan hukum di Indonesia, khususnya dalam penanganan kasus-kasus korupsi besar.
Kepada Jurnal Tipikor pada hari Senin (8/12), A.Tarmizi dengan tegas menyebut bahwa penanganan kasus korupsi saat ini masih terasa lemah dan terkesan tebang pilih.
“Kita memperingati Harkodia setiap tahun, tetapi substansinya seolah menguap. Kasus-kasus korupsi besar masih banyak yang jalan di tempat, penanganannya tidak konsisten, dan publik melihat ada indikasi ‘tebang pilih’ dalam proses hukum,” ujarnya.
Ia menekankan bahwa korupsi bukan lagi persoalan biasa, melainkan sudah menjadi ‘kejahatan luar biasa’ (extraordinary crime) yang dampaknya sangat merusak sendi-sendi negara dan kesejahteraan rakyat.
“Persoalan korupsi di negeri ini sudah mencapai fase akut dan menggurita. Ini adalah kanker yang sudah menyebar. Jika penegakan hukumnya masih tumpul ke atas dan tajam ke bawah, atau hanya menyentuh kasus-kasus kecil, maka Harkodia ini hanya akan menjadi perayaan atau sindiran bagi aparat penegak hukum sendiri,” kritik A.Tarmizi.
Menuntut Supremasi Hukum dan Energi Baru
Lebih lanjut, BPKP berharap peringatan Harkodia tahun ini tidak hanya berhenti pada jargon dan lip service. Peringatan ini harusnya membawa energi dan semangat baru yang konkret dalam dua hal utama:
- Supremasi Hukum: Memastikan hukum ditegakkan seadil-adilnya tanpa memandang jabatan, afiliasi politik, atau kekayaan terpidana.
- Penegakan yang Konsisten: Menghilangkan praktik tebang pilih dan memperkuat independensi lembaga antirasuah serta penuntut umum.
