Menanggapi krisis ini, Ketua Badan Pemantau Kebijakan Publik (BPKP) Kota Bandung, Heri Irawan, angkat bicara. Saat ditemui di sekretariat BPKP di kawasan Jl. Adiwinangun, Kota Bandung,
Heri mengungkapkan rasa prihatin sekaligus kecewa mendalam terhadap kondisi Kota Bandung saat ini.
Menurut Heri, rapor merah dari KPK seharusnya menjadi sinyal peringatan keras bagi Pemkot Bandung.
“Disaat publik Bandung merasa kecewa dengan pemberian penilaian raport merah oleh KPK, sebetulnya itu merupakan sebuah sinyal atau alarm bagi Pemkot Bandung,” ujar Heri.
“Tentunya raport tersebut berkaitan dengan masalah kasus demi kasus yang terjadi di Kota Bandung dalam kasus korupsi,” tegasnya.
BPKP secara khusus menyoroti apa yang dianggap sebagai kekosongan kepemimpinan di tengah situasi genting ini.
Heri menyayangkan sikap Wali Kota Bandung, Mohammad Farhan, yang belum tampil ke depan publik untuk memberikan penjelasan.
“Satu hal lagi yang disayangkan, dengan kejadian kemarin pemanggilan Wakil Walikota Bandung oleh Kejari Bandung, seharusnya Walikota Bandung, Mohammad Farhan, selaku Walikota Bandung tampil untuk bisa menenangkan,” tutur Heri.
Heri menambahkan bahwa dalam situasi seperti ini, Wali Kota seharusnya segera “membuat statement yang menenangkan dan mencerahkan” publik agar tidak terjadi kebingungan dan spekulasi liar di masyarakat.
Pernyataan ini menggarisbawahi tuntutan publik akan transparansi dan kepemimpinan yang responsif dari pimpinan tertinggi Kota Bandung di tengah sorotan tajam atas masalah integritas pemerintahan.
