Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) mengungkapkan bahwa Zainal Abidin, Sekretaris Lembaga Perekonomian Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (LP PBNU), mangkir dari panggilan pemeriksaan sebagai saksi dalam kasus dugaan korupsi penentuan kuota dan penyelenggaraan ibadah haji tahun 2023–2024.
Juru Bicara KPK, Budi Prasetyo, menyatakan di Gedung Merah Putih KPK, Jakarta, “Yang bersangkutan tidak hadir ya dalam pemeriksaan itu.”Zainal Abidin seharusnya diperiksa pada 4 September 2025.
Dengan ketidakhadirannya, KPK belum dapat mengungkap materi pemeriksaan yang akan digali, termasuk kapasitasnya sebagai Sekretaris LP PBNU atau Komisaris PT Superintending Company of Indonesia (Sucofindo).
Latar Belakang Kasus
KPK memulai penyidikan kasus ini pada 9 Agustus 2025. Kasus ini mencuat setelah KPK meminta keterangan dari mantan Menteri Agama, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, pada 7 Agustus 2025.
KPK juga tengah berkoordinasi dengan Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) untuk menghitung kerugian negara.
Pada 11 Agustus 2025, KPK mengumumkan adanya indikasi kerugian negara sebesar lebih dari Rp1 triliun dan telah mencegah tiga orang bepergian ke luar negeri, termasuk Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.
Selain KPK, Panitia Khusus (Pansus) Angket Haji DPR RI juga menyoroti kejanggalan dalam penyelenggaraan haji 2024, terutama terkait pembagian kuota tambahan 20.000 dari Pemerintah Arab Saudi.
Pansus menemukan bahwa Kementerian Agama membagi kuota tersebut 50% untuk haji reguler dan 50% untuk haji khusus.
Pembagian ini dianggap tidak sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2019, yang menetapkan kuota haji khusus sebesar 8% dari total kuota haji.
KPK terus berkomitmen untuk mengusut tuntas kasus ini guna memastikan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam penyelenggaraan ibadah haji.
