BANDUNG, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Wali Kota Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, secara resmi melantik 59 anggota Forum Kewaspadaan Dini Masyarakat (FKDM) Kota Bandung untuk masa bakti 2025–2029 di Pendopo Kota Bandung, Senin (8/9/2025). Pelantikan ini menjadi langkah strategis untuk memperkuat sistem deteksi dini dan pencegahan potensi konflik sosial di tengah masyarakat.
Farhan menekankan pentingnya peran FKDM dalam menjaga stabilitas dan kondusivitas kota. Ia menilai, keberadaan forum ini sangat strategis, mengingat status Bandung sebagai ibu kota Jawa Barat dan pusat aktivitas masyarakat.
Apresiasi dan Pesan untuk Pengurus Baru
Dalam sambutannya, Farhan memberikan apresiasi kepada pengurus FKDM periode 2020–2025 yang dinilai berhasil menjaga stabilitas kota di tengah berbagai tantangan berat, seperti wafatnya kepala daerah pada 2021 hingga kritik yang sempat menganggap kota berjalan tanpa kendali. Stabilitas ini, lanjutnya, tak lepas dari sinergi FKDM dengan forum lain, seperti Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) dan Forum Pembauran Kebangsaan (FPK).

Menyinggung kerusuhan yang sempat terjadi akhir Agustus hingga awal September lalu, Farhan menegaskan bahwa meski sulit mengendalikan pola pikir seseorang, pemerintah dan masyarakat dapat mengantisipasi konflik sebelum meledak dan meminimalisir dampaknya.
Ia mencontohkan, siskamling warga yang digerakkan sejak 30 Agustus membuktikan kolaborasi warga dan pemerintah adalah benteng pertahanan yang paling efektif.
Kepada pengurus FKDM yang baru, Farhan menitipkan empat pesan penting:
- Memberikan informasi dan analisis objektif sebagai dasar kebijakan pemerintah.
- Menjalin komunikasi erat dengan partai politik, pesantren, dan rumah ibadah.
- Peka terhadap isu ketahanan pangan, khususnya distribusi dan harga beras
- Dekat dengan warga, mendengarkan aspirasi hingga tingkat RT dan RW.
“Saya minta FKDM jangan hanya menjadi bumper yang membuat kami di pemerintahan merasa aman. Sampaikan fakta apa adanya, sepahit apapun, agar kebijakan yang diambil benar-benar sesuai dengan realita,” tegas Farhan.

Kepala Badan Kesbangpol Kota Bandung, M. Salman Fauzi, melaporkan bahwa 59 anggota FKDM yang dilantik berasal dari berbagai unsur, termasuk tokoh masyarakat, agama, pemuda, dan akademisi.
Menurut Salman, FKDM diharapkan menjadi mitra strategis pemerintah daerah dalam merespons dinamika sosial secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat.
“Mereka juga harus menyampaikan informasi valid sebagai bahan pertimbangan kebijakan, mengembangkan jejaring informasi, serta menangkal hoaks, radikalisme, intoleransi, dan potensi gangguan keamanan lainnya,” jelasnya.
Mengakhiri sambutannya, Farhan berharap sinergi FKDM dengan pemerintah, FKUB, FPK, aparat keamanan, dan masyarakat akan menjadikan Bandung kota yang unggul, amanah, berorientasi pada kemajuan, dan berlandaskan nilai agamis.
