Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik dan Keamanan (Menko Polkam) Budi Gunawan menegaskan bahwa Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan (PPATK) akan melindungi dana masyarakat, meskipun rekening mereka diblokir.
Pernyataan ini disampaikan Menko Polkam menanggapi rencana PPATK untuk memblokir rekening yang tidak aktif selama tiga bulan.
“Kemenko Polkam akan berkoordinasi dengan PPATK dan pemangku kepentingan terkait untuk menjaga dan melindungi masyarakat atas dana yang dimiliki dan disimpan di perbankan,” ujar Budi Gunawan dalam siaran pers resmi yang diterima Antara di Jakarta, Rabu (30/7/2025).
Pria yang akrab disapa BG ini memahami kekhawatiran masyarakat akan dampak dari kebijakan tersebut. Ia memastikan, meski rekening nasabah diblokir oleh PPATK karena tidak aktif selama tiga bulan, masyarakat tidak akan kehilangan uang di dalam rekening.
Pemblokiran ini dilakukan karena rekening yang tidak aktif rentan disalahgunakan oleh pihak-pihak tertentu untuk perbuatan kriminal.
Sebelumnya, PPATK telah mengungkapkan bahwa mereka telah menghentikan sementara sebanyak 28.000 rekening dormant (tidak aktif) selama tahun 2024.
Kepala PPATK Ivan Yustiavandana menjelaskan bahwa pemblokiran sementara ini merupakan bagian dari upaya PPATK dalam melindungi kepentingan umum serta menjaga integritas sistem keuangan Indonesia.
“Penghentian sementara transaksi rekening dormant bertujuan memberikan perlindungan kepada pemilik rekening, serta mencegah penyalahgunaan oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab,” kata Ivan di Jakarta, Minggu (18/5/2025).

Menurut Ivan, rekening pasif yang dikendalikan oleh pihak tidak bertanggung jawab dapat menjadi salah satu modus yang rawan disalahgunakan dalam aktivitas ilegal, seperti deposit judi online (judol), tindak pidana penipuan, perdagangan narkotika, dan kejahatan lainnya.
Sementara itu, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) juga telah meminta bank untuk memantau rekening dormant guna mencegah penggunaannya dalam kejahatan keuangan dan meningkatkan efektivitas dalam penanganan jual beli rekening.
Kepala Eksekutif Pengawas Perbankan OJK Dian Ediana Rae menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya telah meminta bank untuk melaporkan transaksi keuangan mencurigakan kepada PPATK terkait penggunaan rekening oleh terduga pelaku kejahatan, serta menganalisis aliran dana.
