BANDUNG, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dispora) Kota Bandung kembali menggelar Latihan Kepemudaan Daerah (LKD) III, sebuah program strategis untuk membina calon pemimpin muda di Kota Bandung.
Kegiatan yang berlangsung dari tanggal 9 hingga 11 Juli 2025 ini diikuti oleh 50 pemuda-pemudi terpilih berusia 16-30 tahun, yang berhasil menyisihkan 386 pendaftar lainnya.
Peserta berasal dari berbagai wilayah di Kota Bandung, menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari generasi muda untuk mengembangkan potensi kepemimpinan mereka.
Wakil Wali Kota Bandung, H. Erwin, secara resmi membuka LKD III pada Rabu, 9 Juli 2025, di The Jayakarta Suite Hotel and Resort, Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, Kota Bandung.

Dalam sambutannya, Wakil Wali Kota Erwin menekankan pentingnya peran pemuda sebagai calon pemimpin masa depan. Ia mengingatkan bahwa seorang pemimpin akan dimintai pertanggungjawaban di akhirat kelak, sehingga perlu mempersiapkan diri dengan sebaik-baiknya.
Menurut H. Erwin, seorang pemimpin ideal harus memiliki tiga kualitas utama: intelektual, spiritual, dan emosional.
Mengacu pada nilai-nilai Islam dan teladan Rasulullah SAW, ia memaparkan sejumlah syarat utama menjadi pemimpin, di antaranya: cerdas (intelektual), benar (shiddiq), komunikatif (tabligh), amanah, dan adil (tawassuth wa i’tidal).
“Pemimpin yang adil adalah salah satu dari tujuh golongan yang akan mendapatkan naungan Allah di hari kiamat,” tutur Erwin.

Ia juga mendorong para peserta untuk tidak ragu bermimpi besar dan menuliskannya sebagai target hidup, namun tetap menyadari bahwa setiap impian membutuhkan proses panjang dan tidak ada yang instan.
Erwin mencontohkan perjalanan kariernya sendiri, “Saya dulu punya mimpi jadi wali kota sejak 1998. Prosesnya panjang dari ketua RW, DPRD, partai politik. Tidak ada yang instan. Kalian pun harus punya skenario hidup yang jelas.”
Di akhir pesannya, Wakil Wali Kota Erwin menitipkan pesan moral agar para peserta menjaga diri dari pergaulan bebas dan maksiat.
“Kalau tidak tahan godaan, lebih baik menikah. Jangan sampai rezeki kalian hilang karena kesalahan kecil. Jaga moral, jaga masa depan,” tutupnya, disambut tepuk tangan meriah dari para peserta.
Sementara itu, Plt. Kepala Dispora Kota Bandung, Sigit Iskandar, menjelaskan bahwa LKD III tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ruang pelatihan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan daya saing pemuda Kota Bandung di kancah nasional maupun internasional.
“Latihan Kepemudaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas, kemampuan komunikasi, keterampilan berorganisasi, serta kepemimpinan para peserta,” kata Sigit.
“Kita harapkan mereka menjadi generasi yang punya daya saing, tapi tetap memegang jati diri dan kearifan lokal Bandung.”
Sigit menambahkan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan implementasi dari tiga tugas pokok Dispora, yaitu penyadaran, pengembangan, dan pemberdayaan pemuda.
Ia juga menekankan pentingnya relevansi pengembangan kompetensi pemuda dengan potensi Kota Bandung sebagai kota jasa, seperti kepemimpinan, komunikasi publik, hingga kewirausahaan.
