BANDUNG, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) tetap menjadi ancaman serius bagi Kota Bandung. Sepanjang tahun 2025, tercatat 1.653 kasus DBD dengan empat di antaranya berujung pada kematian.
Menanggapi situasi ini, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung terus menggencarkan berbagai upaya preventif melalui pendekatan kolaboratif yang mengedepankan edukasi, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan penerapan teknologi ramah lingkungan.
Wakil Wali Kota Bandung, Erwin, dalam dialog publik “Bandung Siang Ini” yang disiarkan RRI Bandung Live dan Radio Sonata pada Rabu, 9 Juli 2025, menegaskan bahwa program Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN) Plus menjadi pilar penting untuk memutus rantai penyebaran nyamuk Aedes aegypti, vektor virus DBD.
“Kami ingin pendekatannya bukan hanya sektoral, tapi ekosentris, di mana semua unsur masyarakat, mulai dari RT, RW, kader kesehatan, hingga perangkat wilayah, harus bergerak bersama,” ujar Erwin.

Upaya PSN Plus ini mencakup kampanye “Jumat 10 Menit”, sebuah kebiasaan rutin membersihkan lingkungan rumah setiap Jumat selama 10 menit.
Selain itu, Pemkot Bandung juga telah mengembangkan program “Satu Rumah Satu Jumantik”, di mana setiap rumah memiliki Juru Pemantau Jentik (Jumantik) yang bertugas melakukan pemeriksaan tempat penampungan air secara berkala.
Sebagai inovasi, Pemkot Bandung juga telah menerapkan teknologi biologis Wolbachia, bakteri alami yang disuntikkan ke nyamuk jantan untuk menghambat reproduksi nyamuk penyebar virus DBD.
Uji coba awal di Kecamatan Ujungberung berhasil menurunkan potensi kasus, dan kini program ini tengah dikembangkan ke kecamatan lain seperti Kiaracondong.
“Di Ujungberung, program ini sudah sukses. Sekarang kita ekspansi ke wilayah padat penduduk seperti Kiaracondong, karena di sana banyak saluran air dan genangan yang jadi tempat bersarang nyamuk,” terang Erwin.

Sementara itu, Sekretaris Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bandung, Sony Adam, menekankan bahwa keberhasilan program ini sangat bergantung pada edukasi dan penerimaan masyarakat.
Ia menyayangkan masih adanya warga yang melakukan penyemprotan obat anti-nyamuk (fogging) sendiri tanpa takaran dan prosedur yang tepat.
“Penyemprotan itu harus serentak dan menyeluruh, tidak boleh setengah-setengah. Kalau satu rumah menolak disemprot, ya nyamuknya lari ke sana. Itu tidak efektif,” jelasnya.
Sebagai bentuk kesiapsiagaan, Pemkot Bandung berharap masyarakat aktif melaporkan lokasi rawan DBD dan tumpukan sampah liar yang berpotensi menjadi sarang nyamuk agar segera ditindaklanjuti.
Masyarakat juga diimbau untuk terus menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, tidak membuang sampah ke sungai, dan melaporkan titik-titik genangan serta TPS liar.
“Kesehatan masyarakat adalah tanggung jawab bersama. Kita ingin Bandung keluar dari status endemis. Hari ini merah, insyaallah ke depan tidak merah lagi,” tutur Sony.
