BATAM, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Bea Cukai Batam berhasil menggagalkan empat upaya penyelundupan narkotika jenis Metamfetamina (sabu) dengan total berat mencapai 5,3 kilogram dalam dua penindakan terpisah.
Keberhasilan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen Bea Cukai dalam memberantas peredaran narkotika di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia.
Kepala Kantor Bea dan Cukai Batam, Zaky Firmansyah, dalam konferensi pers pada Senin (2/6), menjelaskan kronologi penindakan tersebut. “Empat upaya penyelundupan ini memiliki modus dan jumlah yang berbeda,” ujar Zaky.

Penindakan pertama hingga ketiga dilakukan pada Minggu, 18 Mei 2025, di mana petugas berhasil mengamankan barang bukti sabu seberat 250 gram. Sementara itu, penindakan keempat yang jauh lebih besar, terjadi pada Minggu, 25 Mei 2025, dengan mengamankan 5,120 kilogram sabu.
Keberhasilan Bea Cukai Batam dalam menggagalkan penyelundupan ini menjadi bukti nyata keseriusan aparat dalam menjaga kedaulatan negara dari ancaman narkotika. Penindakan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa para pelaku kejahatan narkotika terus mencoba berbagai modus untuk melancarkan aksinya, namun berkat kesigapan petugas, upaya-upaya tersebut berhasil digagalkan.
Bea Cukai Batam akan terus bersinergi dengan instansi penegak hukum lainnya untuk memberantas peredaran narkotika demi menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dari narkoba.
