Bandung, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Sebanyak 500 mengikuti pelatihan Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTQ) yang digelar Kelompok Kerja Majelis Taklim (KKMT) Kota Bandung, di Masjid Pusdai Jawa Barat, Kamis 1 Mei 2025
Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan kualitas pembelajaran Al-Qur’an semakin meningkat, khususnya dalam hal metode, pendekatan pedagogis, serta penguasaan ilmu-ilmu dasar seperti tajwid, makhraj, dan penulisan huruf hijaiyah.
Wakil Wali Kota Bandung, Erwin yang hadir pada acara pembukaan menyampaikan apresiasnya.

Baginya, pelatihan ini menjadi bukti nyata komitmen kolektif dalam memperkuat kapasitas keagamaan dan pendidikan spiritual di tengah masyarakat.
“Kemajuan bangsa tidak hanya ditentukan oleh capaian ekonomi dan teknologi, tetapi juga oleh kekuatan spiritual dan akhlak masyarakatnya,” ujar Erwin.
Ia mengingatkan kembali fungsi utama Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk hidup, pembeda antara kebenaran dan kebatilan serta penyejuk hati.
“Dalam konteks ini, peran Kelompok Kerja Majelos Taklim (KKMT) sangatlah vital. Selain sebagai wadah pembelajaran agama, majelis taklim juga menjadi pusat pembentukan karakter, etika sosial, serta penguatan ukhuwah,” bebernya.
Menurutnya, tantangan zaman yang semakin kompleks membuat generasi muda dihadapkan pada derasnya arus informasi dan gaya hidup yang menjauhkan dari nilai-nilai Islam.
“Dalam situasi ini, keberadaan majelis taklim menjadi sangat strategis sebagai garda terdepan dakwah,” tegasnya.
Oleh karenanya, Erwin mengajak seluruh peserta pelatihan untuk menjadikan kegiatan ini sebagai momentum kebangkitan generasi Qur’ani.
“Saya berharap ilmu yang diperoleh tidak berhenti pada diri sendiri, namun turut disebarkan kepada lingkungan sekitar,” harapnya.(yan/red)
