Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto mengatakan peluncuran dana investasi negara atau sovereign wealth fund (SWF) Danantara, membuktikan Indonesia bukan sekadar pengikut, melainkan pelopor perekonomian dunia.
Menurutnya, keberadaan Danantara adalah solusi strategis dan efisien dalam mengoptimalkan BUMN untuk memberikan investasi l ke sejumlah industri yang mendorong pertumbuhan jangka panjang.
“Tetapi (Danantara) juga akan mentransformasi BUMN kita menjadi pemimpin kelas dunia di sektor masing-masing,” kata Prabowo, dalam sambutannya saat peluncuran Danantara di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Senin (24/2).
Melalui Danantara, Prabowo ingin melihat lebih banyak perusahaan BUMN lebih kompetitif, profesional, dan terintegrasi dalam ekonomi global.
“Kita ingin melihat lebih banyak BUMN masuk dalam daftar Global Fortune 500, membuktikan bahwa Indonesia bukan sekedar pengikut, tetapi Indonesia juga dapat menjadi pelopor dan pemimpin dalam perekonomian dunia,” ujarnya.
Prabowo mengungkapkan, gelombang pertama investasi bakal senilai Rp20 miliar dolar AS di sekitar 20 proyek strategis yang fokus pada hilirisasi nikel boksit, tembaga, pembangunan pusat data, kecerdasan buatan, kilang minyak pabrik petrokimia, produksi pangan dan protein, akua kultur serta energi terbarukan.
“Inilah sektor-sektor yang akan menentukan masa depan kita, ketahanan kita, dan kemandirian bangsa kita,” ungkap Prabowo.
Pembentukan Danantara, lanjutnya, menandai era baru bagi BUMN, yang bukan hanya sebagai entitas bisnis tapi aset nasional yang akan menjadi agen pembangunan dan pertumbuhan fundamental bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan rakyat.
“Oleh karena itu BUMN harus beroperasi dengan standar yang tinggi, governance terbaik. BUMN harus mengdepankan inovasi, gagasan besar, transparansi, kemajuan teknologi sekaligus menjaga disiplin, kehati-hatian serta komitmen terhadap tata kelola yang baik dan pengelolaan bertanggung jawab,” imbuhnya.(*)
