JURNAL TIPIKOR – Pengamat Kebijakan Publik, A. Tarmizi, menyatakan kekecewaannya atas pernyataan yang tidak pantas yang dilontarkan oleh seorang pejabat publik, yaitu Menteri Pembangunan Manusia dan Desa (PMD). Dalam sebuah sebuah Acara Forum Dialogis, menteri tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa para Kepala Desa (Kades) merasa terganggu oleh keberadaan wartawan dari media Bodrex dan Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM).

Tarmizi menilai bahwa pernyataan tersebut tidak hanya menunjukkan ketidakpekaan terhadap peran penting wartawan dan LSM dalam masyarakat, tetapi juga dapat menghambat transparansi dan akuntabilitas pemerintah desa. “Wartawan dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat memiliki peran penting dalam mengawasi dan memberikan informasi kepada publik. Merendahkan profesi mereka hanya akan mengganggu proses demokrasi dan memperburuk hubungan antara pemerintah dan masyarakat,” ujarnya kepada Jurnal Tipikor, Sabtu(1/2/2025).
Lebih lanjut, Tarmizi menekankan pentingnya dialog konstruktif antara pemerintah dan media, serta LSM, untuk menciptakan sinergi yang positif dalam pembangunan desa. Ia meminta agar semua pihak saling menghargai peran masing-masing demi kepentingan bersama.
