Sukabumi, JURNAL TIPIKOR,-Pelaku penyiraman air keras terhadap istrinya berhasil diamankan pihak Polres Sukabumi kurang dari satu jam setelah aksi brutalnya yang dilakukan pada Minggu, 29 Desember 2024, di Kampung Dukuh Nara, Desa Pawenang, Kecamatan Nagrak, Kabupaten Sukabumi.
Kapolres Sukabumi AKBP Dr. Samian, S.H.,S.I.K.,M.Si., menjelaskan, insiden bermula dari pertengkaran rumah tangga, pelaku yang cemburu menuduh istrinya, Dedeh Kurniasih (46), berselingkuh. Emosi memuncak, pelaku mengambil botol air keras yang sebelumnya ia beli secara daring, lalu menyiramkan cairan berbahaya itu ke istrinya.
“Anak-anak korban, Muhammad Sarif Alfian (18) dan Angga Juliana Suakir (11), yang mencoba melindungi ibunya, juga terkena siraman air keras tersebut. Ketiganya langsung dilarikan ke RS Sekar Wangi untuk mendapatkan perawatan,”kata Samian kepada awak media, Selasa (31/12/2024).

Selain mengamankan pelaku, polisi juga mengumpulkan sejumlah barang bukti antaralain satu stel pakaian korban, sebuah hand phone (HP) milik pelaku, dan botol kosong bekas air keras.
“Penangkapan dilakukan kurang dari satu jam setelah kejadian. Ini menunjukkan kesigapan anggota kami dalam menangani kasus ini,” tambah Samian.
Pelaku dijerat Pasal 44 ayat (1) dan (2) juncto Pasal 5 huruf (a) Undang-Undang RI Nomor 23 Tahun 2004 tentang Penghapusan Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga.
“Ancaman hukuman maksimal bagi pelaku adalah 10 tahun penjara. Kasus ini menjadi peringatan penting untuk kita semua agar lebih peka terhadap lingkungan sekitar, terutama dalam mencegah dan melaporkan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga,”pungkasnya.
