Polsek Tempe Gerak Cepat Datangi Dua Rumah Hangus Terbakar di Wajo, Diduga Gegera Lupa Mematikan Kompor usai Masak Telur
WAJO, JURNAL TIPIKOR — Kebakaran kembali menyasar permukiman warga Kabupaten Wajo, dua rumah hangus sekaligus.
Kebakaran yang terjadi sekitar pukul 11.30 Wita. Kamis (16/11/2022) menghanguskan dua rumah di jalan Amanagappa, Kelurahan Siengkang, Kecamatan Tempe, Kabupaten Wajo.
Kapolsek Tempe AKP. Andi Muhammad Takdir melalui Kanit Samapta AIPDA Robby Gunawan, mengatakan sesuai keterangan saksi awalnya, kebakaran terlihat dari rumah milik Hajja Yasse, dimana Lelaki Revi Alfiandi sedang memasak telur menggunakan kompor gas tetapi lupa mematikan kompor gas tersebut sehingga membesar dan membakar rumah milik Hajja Yasse yang merupakan rumah kost.
‘’Tahu-tahu, api sudah membesar dan menjalar kerumah milik Sulfian. Akibat kebakaran tersebut 2 unit rumah ludes terbakar beserta isinya,”Katanya.
AIPDA Robby menyebut jika api pertama kali terlihat dari rumah Hajja Yasse. Besarnya kobaran api dengan cepat merembet ke rumah Sulfian. Jarak kedua rumah berdekatan.
“Rumah Hajja Yasse habis terbakar dan merembet ke rumah Sulfian juga habis terbakar,’’ ungkap AIPDA Robby.

Dugaan awal bahwa api tersebut muncul saat lelaki Revi Alfiandi lupa mematikan kompor tempat memasak telur.
“Di rumah Hajja Yasse. Lelaki Revi Alfiandi yang masak telur, diduga api tidak dimatikan dikompor,’’ ujar AIPDA Robby.
Api dapat dijinakkan setelah empat 4 unit mobil pemadam kebakaran dari Dinas Damkar Wajo melakukan pemadaman dan di Bantu oleh masyarakat sekitar lokasi kebakaran dan tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian tersebut. Kerugian ditaksir ratusan juta rupiah.
“Kami menghimbau masyarakat agar tidak lalai saat memasak,’’ tutupnya.
