Wajo, JurnalTipikor.com | Satu lagi ajang yang akan hadir untuk menghibur masyarakat Kabupaten Wajo yaitu Festival Danau Tempe.
Ajang yang sudah masuk sebagai event kalender pariwisata nasional akan digelar pada bulan Agustus 2023 ini yang rangkaian kegiatannya mulai tanggal 21 sampai 23.
Kepala Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Porapar) Kabupaten Wajo, Dahniar Gaffar mengaku pihaknya bersama para panitia sudah mempersiapkan kegiatan ini dengan baik.
“Insya Allah rangkaian kegiatannya mulai besok Senin (21/8/2023) pagi dengan lomba cabang olahraga yaitu lomba layang-layang, mallongga dan terompah di stadi. Lalu, malamnya akan kita langsungkan ceremony pembukaan di RTH Callaccu, Sengkang sekaligus lomba menyanyi dan penampilan kesenian,” ucap Dahniar Gaffar, Minggu (20/8/2023).
Mantan Kadis Dukcapil Kabupaten Wajo ini melanjutkan bahwa di hari kedua, Selasa (22/8/203), ada pemilihan duta sutera serta penampilan dari HARPI dan MUA Kabupaten Wajo di RTH Callaccu.
Kemudian, pada hari ketiga sekaligus puncak acara Festival Danau Tempe, Rabu (23/8/2023), pada pagi hari digelar lomba perahu hias di pesisir Sungai Walannae (Sungai Padduppa). Dilanjutkan dengan lomba perahu dayung, lomba panjat pinang dan lomba perahu mesin di Gelora Wisata Desa (GWD) Desa Nepo, Kecamatan Tanasitolo.
“Malam harinya, di RTH Callaccu akan digelar seremony penutupan yang akan dihibur oleh artis ibukota Zian eks Zigas Band serta artis lokal. Kita mengajak kepada seluruh masyarakat untuk tidak melewatkan semua momen ini sekaligus menjadi ajang hiburan,” ucapnya.

Selain kegiatan tersebut, ada juga SILK CAMP yang digelar di Kawasan Wisata Rumah Adat Atakkae pada tanggal 21 sampai 24 Agustus 203.
“Kita berharap kekompakan seluruh panitia serta dukungan seluruh pihak agar ajang tahunan ini bisa sukses digelar,” harapnya.
Sementara dikonfirmasi terpisah, Bupati Wajo, Amran Mahmud mengapresiasi kinerja panitia yang telah menyiapkan kegiatan ini sejak beberapa waktu lalu.
“Kita berharap panitia dan pihak terkait bisa terus kompak serta tidak kalah pentingnya dukungan masyarakat agar kegiatan ini bisa terlaksana dengan baik,” ucapnya.
Ketua DPD PAN Wajo ini juga menyampaikan terima kasih atas dukungan dan perhatian dari Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, Bapak Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno dan Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Bapak Andi Sudirman Sulaiman serta Badan Perfilman Indonesia untuk penyelenggaraan event kalender pariwisata nasional Festival Danau Tempe ini.
“Kepada masyarakat, kita berharap agar menjadikan ini sebagai ajang hiburan sekaligus memperkenalkan potensi wisata dan kebudayaan kita. Apalagi, dihibur oleh artis ibukota dan artis lokal lainnya,” pungkasnya.
