Hadir dalam giat Bupati Bandung Dr. HM. Dadang Supriatna beserta jajaran Forkopimda Provinsi Jawa Barat, Forkopimda Kabupaten Bandung dan Forkopimcam Solokanjeruk.
Pusat bisnis dan edukasi kopi Indonesia yang dibangun pada lahan seluas 4,5 hektare di Solokanjeruk Kabupaten Bandung tersebut diperuntukkan sebagai salah satu sentra penghasil kopi terbesar di Jawa Barat.

Bupati Bandung Dadang Supriatna mengatakan bahwa pelaksanaan Ground Breaking Pembangunan Center of Excellent Korporasi Petani Kopi dilakukan di Kabupaten Bandung karena Kabupaten Bandung memiliki potensi dalam komoditi kopi.
“Saya kira tidak salah, Pak Presiden dan Pak Menteri menitik lokus pembangunan (pusat bisnis dan edukasi kopi Indonesia) di Kabupaten Bandung. Ya memang potensi kopi di Kabupaten Bandung sangat luar biasa,” kata Bupati Bandung Dadang Supriatna saat menghadiri Ground Breaking Center of Excellence dan Soft Launching Produk Hilirisasi Perkebunan di Solokanjeruk.
Bupati Bandung juga turut memberikan apresiasi dan terima kasih kepada Presiden dan Menteri Pertanian yang sudah memberikan kepercayaan kepada Kabupaten Bandung untuk dijadikan tempat untuk produksi dan termasuk hilirisasi, penjualan atau market produk kopi dan sebagainya.

Bupati Bandung menyebutkan dengan adanya pembangunan Center of Excellent Korporasi Petani Kopi di Kabupaten Bandung dapat memberikan manfaat yang cukup besar bagi para petani kopi. Terlebih lagi kopi sebagai produk unggulan di Kabupaten Bandung.
“Manfaatnya otomatis di sini ada daya jual dan offtaker yang jelas. Kemarin-kemarin kan masih serabutan, katakan ada tengkulak segala macam. Tapi kalau sudah terpusat di satu titik ini maka offtaker sudah yakin dan pasti sehingga tidak kebingungan lagi. Artinya pasar dan termasuk produk-produk yang diproduksi di masing-masing daerah ini akan bisa cepat terjual dan diproduksi sehingga ini bisa ekspor besar-besaran,” katanya.
Bupati Bandung berharap dengan adanya pelaksanaan ground breaking ini dapat memberikan manfaat dan keberkahan bagi para petani kopi di Jawa Barat, khususnya di Kabupaten Bandung.

Ia juga menjelaskan bahwa kawasan perkebunan di Kabupaten Bandung mencapai 65.000 hektare.
“Daerah pertanian ini beririsan dengan tempat wisata, perkebunan dan hutan,” katanya.
Kang DS, sapaan akrab Dadang Supriatna menjelaskan, bahwa Kabupaten Bandung sebagai produsen kopi terbesar di Jawa Barat. Perkebunan kopi di Kabupaten Bandung ditanam pada lahan di atas 1000 meter di atas permukaan laut, sehingga dapat menghasilkan kopi cita rasa dan produk kualitas tinggi.
“Dengan luas lahan kopi perkebunan di Kabupaten Bandung tahun 2022 adalah seluas 14.374 hektare dengan produksi 8.183,31 ton,” katanya.
Kang DS menjelaskan kecamatan penghasil kopi di Kab. Bandung berada di Kecamatan Cimenyan, Cilengkrang, Cicalengka, Nagreg, Ibun, Kertasari, Pangalengan, Cimaung, Pasirjambu, Rancabali, Ciwidey, Pacet, Ciparay, Soreang, dan Kecamatan Arjasari.
“Kabupaten Bandung merupakan surga kopi Jawa Barat,” katanya.

Kang DS menyebutkan kopi yang diproduksi di Kabupaten Bandung adalah kopi arabika dan sudah terkenal di dunia internasional. Terutama setelah dinobatkannya kopi asal Gunung Puntang sebagai juara dalam lomba kopi di Amerika Serikat.
“Dalam upaya pengembangan sektor kopi di Kabupaten Bandung, pemerintah telah berkomitmen antara lain memberikan bantuan benih kopi unggul bersertifikat, hibah atau bansos untuk pengolahan hasil kopi, dukungan dan akses permodalan, pengendalian hama dan penyakit kopi, pembinaan teknis budidaya kopi, pameran kopi di tingkat lokal, regional, nasional maupun internasional,” tuturnya.
Sementara itu, Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo mengatakan, bahwa pihaknya bersama Bupati Bandung, Dirjen dan stakeholder memprakarsai kegiatan Ground Breaking Center of Excellence dan Soft Launching Produk Hilirisasi Perkebunan Pertanian di Kabupaten Bandung atas korporasi yang dilakukan kelompok- kelompok pertanian yang ada.
“Saya kira ini kegiatan memang menjadi salah satu arah Bapak Presiden agar komoditas perkebunan kita besok harus bisa kita kembangkan lebih baik. Rata-rata perkebunan kita, baik coklat, kopi dan lain-lain umurnya bisa di atas 12 tahun hingga 15 tahun,” kata Syahrul.
Oleh karena itu, kata Syahrul, produktifitasnya harus dijaga. Di tempat ini pemerintah pusat bersama dengan pemerintah daerah setempat akan mendorong kelompok-kelompok tani membangun korporasi bersama menghadirkan kebun bibit.

“Target yang kurang lebih antara 3 juta sampai 5 juta atau 10 juta pohon. Di sini cirinya adalah tidak hanya kopi arabika, tapi robustanya juga jadi sangat penting. Kita punya dataran rendah yang cukup banyak, kita membutuhkan kopi-kopi di dataran rendah dan akan ujicoba yang akan dilakukan Dirjen Perkebunan,” katanya.
Syahrul mengatakan di lokasi Center of Excellence akan dilakukan mulai dari prosesing awal, dari mulai membangun varietas- varietas yang sesuai dengan arah yang diharapkan.
“Di sini nantinya ada riset dan upaya-upaya langsung, prosesnya akan menghadirkan beberapa masyarakat. Intinya, bibit disiapkan, budidayanya seperti apa, dan di lahan-lahan mana yang bisa dilakukan dan posisi terakhir tentu saja kita harapkan marketnya daya serap dari hilirisasi tersebut,” katanya.
Ia berharap dengan adanya Soft Launching Produk Hilirisasi Perkebunan ini, industri pangan menjadi salah satu hal yang menjanjikan di dunia. “Oleh karena itu hilirisasi perkebunan menjadi salah satu jawaban yang pasti,” katanya.
