Jurnal Tipikor.com, Pagar Alam –Kepolisan Wanita (Polwan) Polres Pagar Alam Polda Sumsel berikan edukasi bijak bermedia sosial, kejahatan kekerasan seksual pada anak bawah umur dan mensosialisasikan ke siswa-siswi agar tetap mematuhi peraturan berlalu lintas di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Pagaralam, Senin (07/08/2023).
Kegiatan Polwan Goes to School, dalam rangka HUT Polwan ke-75 tahun 2023. Serta bagian upaya Polwan turut mewujudkan kondusifitas kamtibmas.
Disampaikan Ketua Tim Polwan Goes to School Aipda Rita Agustina SH di dampingi Humas Polres Pagaralam Aipda Paino dan Aipda A Didik , antisipasi penyalahgunaan media sosial salah satunya tindakan bullying yang kerap dilakukan kalangan muda, perlu dilakukan pendekatan berupa edukasi dari Kepolisian.
“Kami sampaikan bahaya dari penyalahgunaan media sosial, yang dapat mengakibatkan pertikaian atau kesalahpahaman sesama teman. Serta tentang UU ITE meliputi apa saja,” jelasnya.
Selain itu, pihak sekolah dan orang tua juga diharapkan turut mendampingi dan pengawasan terhadap para pelajar maupun buah hatinya dalam penggunaan gadget.

Sementara itu Kepala Sekolah SMA Negeri 2 Kota Pagaralam Rina Anggraini, S. Pd, M. Pd mengucapkan terimah kasih kepada Polwan Polres Pagaralam telah mengedukasikan tentang penyalahgunaan media sosial kepada siswa dan siswi SMA negeri 2 Pagaralam.
