Jakarta, JURNAL TIPIKOR –Kuasa Hukum Mario Teguh, Zakaria, SH, Siking Suryadi, SH, MH, Sulfa Azmi, SH, MH, membantah perihal kliennya melakukan penipuan dan penggelapan atas kerjasama sebagai Brand Ambassador Skincare Kanemochi.
Melalui keterangan tertulis yang diterima redaksi, Tim Kuasa Hukum Mario Teguh mengatakan, bahwa keterangan dan atau berita yang telah disebarluaskan oleh oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab, merupakan berita yang tidak benar dan berita bohong, serta mencemarkan nama baik Mario Teguh.
Klien Kami tidak pernah menandatangani Perjanjian Kerjasama dan/atau Memorandum of Understanding dengan yang bersangkutan. Klien Kami tidak pernah menyatakan apalagi berjanji menjadi Brand Ambassador produk yang bersangkutan, serta tidak pernah menerima uang senilai Rp 5.000.000.000,- (lima miliar rupiah) dari yang bersangkutan,” kata Zakaria, SH, Jumat (14 Juli 2023)

Sebelumnya, Mario Teguh dilaporkan ke Polda Metro Jaya atas kasus dugaan dugaan penggelapan dana sebesar Rp 5 miliar oleh pelapor Sunyoto Indra Prayitno.
Laporan ini teregister dengan nomor LP/3505/VI/2023/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA/tanggal 19 juni 2023. Atas terlapor Mario yang diduga melanggar Pasal 378 KUHP tentang Penipuan dan Pasal 372 KUHP tentang Penggelapan.
Menurut kuasa hukum Sunyoto, dasar laporan yang ditujukan kepada Mario Teguh, lantaran kliennya mengeluarkan uang sejumlah 5 miliar untuk sang motivator menjadi brand ambassador skincare miliknya
