Seiring berkembangnya zaman dan teknologi memudahkan manusia dalam memenuhi kebutuhanya dengan bantuan internet. Namun pada kenyataanya kemajuan teknologi memiliki dua sisi yang bertolak belakang. Disalah satu sisi memiliki dampak positif bagi kehidupan manusia, sedangkan disisi lain akan menjadi malapetaka jika kita tidak bijak dalam menggunakanya.
“Salah satu dampak buruk dari kemajuan teknologi adalah maraknya kasus perjudian online dikalangan masyarakat. Perjudian kini tidak hanya dilakukan secara tersembunyi dan dengan proses yang sangat sulit, dengan tersedianya perjudian online di beberapa situs internet serta keanekaragaman permainan dan tekniknya yang sangat mudah. Membuat perjudian dengan cepat semakin berkembang dan menyebar luas ke seluruh wilayah mulai dari kota-kota ataupun negara. Dan yang lebih parahnya lagi judi online ini banyak sekali digemari oleh para remaja. Karena mudahnya akses dan para remaja yang gampang terpengaruh dengan tawaran yang diberikan oleh situs judi online yang ada,” ungkap Cece Sukmawan yang juga Ketua RW 08 Kebon Gedang, Batununngal, Kota Bandung, Selasa (20/06).

Lanjut Cece mengatakan, sekarang sudah banyak sekali promosi atau iklan yang menawarkan situs judi online dengan berbagai macam penawaran. Bahkan tidak jarang promosi atau iklan tersebut muncul di sela sela kita menggunakan media sosial ataupun web browser. Padahal menurut sumber berita pemerintah melalui kominfo sudah memblokir 566.332 situs yang terindikasi memiliki unsur perjudian sejak 2018 hingga Agustus 2022. Namun situs judi online ini masih banyak beredar di internet.
Pemerintah pun merasa kesulitan dalam menangani situs judi online ini. Pasalnya, pelaku judi online ini kerap sekali memproduksi situs secara berulang dengan penamaan domain yang sama. Para pelaku judi online sangat piawai dalam menghilangkan jejak dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi.
“Para pelaku atau bandar kerap melakukan pergantian situs judi online baru, berpindah-pindah server hingga internasional dan berganti rekening. Bahkan menyatukan hasil judi online tersebut dengan bisnis yang sah, dan bisnis online lainnya. karena itulah sebab yang menjadikan judi online ini sulit untuk diberantas,” tuturnya.

Para remaja yang melakukan judi online beranggapan dengan modal yang kecil mereka akan mendapatkan keuntungan yang besar dengan waktu sekejap mata. Lingkungan pergaulan pun menjadi faktor penting dalam mendorong seorang remaja melakukan judi online. Padahal judi online ini memilik dampak yang sangat serius bagi individu tersebut. beberapa dampak dari judi online adalah :
Kecanduan, pada umumnya ketika melakukan judi online mereka sering kali dibuat kalah sehingga muncul rasa penasaran bahwa mereka seharusnya bisa menang dalam permainan sebelumnya yang mengakibatkan akan mengulangi lagi permainan tersebut. Bahkan karena kecanduan tersebut membuat mereka rela meminjam uang pada orang lain atau yang lebih parahnya lagi sampai meminjam di aplikasi online (pinjol).
Lose control, tidak jarang para remaja yang melakukan judi online menjadi pribadi yang lose control. Tidak jarang mereka marah marah sendiri pada saat bermain judi online, terutama pada saat kalah.

Tidak memiliki prioritas, para remaja yang melakukan judi online seringkali melakukan judi online pada malam hari karena mereka menganggap pada malam hari mereka akan mendapatkan keuntungan yang banyak. Dan jelas itu akan menjadikan remaja tersebut begadang dan lupa akan tanggung jawab mereka untuk sekolah di pagi hari nya.
Menghalalkan segala cara agar bisa melakukan deposit untuk bermain judi online. Banyak dari para remaja yang menghalalkan segala cara agar mereka bisa terus bermain judi online untuk membuktikan rasa penasaranya. Mulai dari menjual barang barang yang mereka miliki hingga yang lebih parah seperti mencuri barang milik orang lain.
“Para remaja pada saat ini seharusnya sedang mempersiapkan diri agar bisa membangun bangsa indonesia menjadi lebih maju. Oleh sebab itu para remaja harus dijauhkan dengan berbagai bentuk judi online yang jelas jelas dapat merusak kepribadian para penerus bangsa ini,” imbau Cece Sukmawan yang ditokohkan Masyarakat Kebon Gedang.
Pemerintah sudah seharusnya melakukan upaya dalam mengatasi kasus judi online ini. Bukan hanya dengan memblokir situs situs judi online yang ada, namun dengan melakukan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat terutama para anak muda penerus bangsa agar tidak terpengaruh oleh judi online dan memberikan wadah bagi para remaja untuk mengembangkan kreativitas nya. Peran masyarakat juga sangat penting untuk mengatasi persoalan ini.

“Yakni, perlu adanya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan penegak hukum yang ada untuk mengatasi judi online yang sudah merajalela ini. Dengan adanya kolaborasi antara ketiga elemen tersebut diharapkan akan menciptkan bangsa indonesia yang bebas dari segala bentuk perjudian online,” pungkasnya.
