Adapun tujuan Jum’at Curhat dilaksanakan dalam rangka meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pemeliharaan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Harkamtibmas) juga menampung Aspirasi/Informasi masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan situasi Kamtibmas di Wilkum Polsek Mamajang.
Dalam sambutannya, Kapolsek Mamajang mengatakan, Bahwa kegiatan jum’at curhat ini bukan hanya Polsek Mamajang saja yang mengadakan tetapi seluruh Polda se Indonesia karena ini merupakan program dari Bapak Kapolri. Jum’at curhat kita adakan tanya jawab terkait dengan situasi kamtibmas di Wilayah hukum Polsek Mamajang.
“Mari kita sama-sama jaga kampung, jaga lorongta (Sibawaki), Jaga anak-anak kita, mari kita peduli terhadap anak-anak kita, Mari Sama-sama Dukung Anti Kekerasan. Mari kita dukung kamtibmas di Kecamatan Mamajang hususnya di Kel. Labuang Baji Kec. Mamajang Kota Makassar.” Ungkap Kapolsek
“Saya sebagai Kapolsek Mamajang bangga karna di Wilayah hukum polsek mamajang tidak ada kejadian menonjol sampai saat ini, mari kita bekerja sama dengan Stakeholder dan Kelurahan Labunag Baji Cukup Kondusif, maka untuk itu mamajang ada program namanya SIBAWAKI, ujarnya
