Momen TNI-Polri Kompak Evakuasi Korban Kebakaran KMP Royce 1
Serang, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Kapal feri KMP Royce 1 terbakar di laut Merak, Banten, hingga membuat seluruh penumpangnya dievakuasi. Proses evakuasi ini melibatkan anggota TNI, polisi, hingga unsur Basarnas dan Kemenhub.
Momen upaya penyelamatan penumpang KMP Royce 1 ini terlihat dalam beberapa video dan foto yang diunggah oleh Wakapolda Banten Brigjen M Sabilul Alif di akun Instagram seperti dilihat, Senin (8/5/2023). Dalam video itu, asap tebal membubung tinggi. Sedangkan para penumpang yang telah memakai pelampung berkumpul di ujung kapal untuk dievakuasi.
Anggota TNI, polisi, Basarnas hingga unsur lain bergerak ke arah kapal untuk mengevakuasi para penumpang. Mereka terlihat menggunakan perahu kecil atau sekoci.

Dari foto yang dibagikan Brigjen Sabilul, terlihat anggota TNI dan polisi kompak membantu salah seorang perempuan berjalan setelah dievakuasi. Selain itu, mereka tampak menandu penumpang ke tempat yang lebih aman.
Brigjen Sabilul menyampaikan terima kasih atas kerja keras dari anggotanya di Polda Banten. Dia juga mendoakan agar seluruh penumpang dalam keadaan sehat.
“Terima kasih atas dedikasi dan kerja keras rekan-rekan personel Ditpolairud Polda Banten yang bergerak cepat dan tanggap dalam membantu mengevakuasi korban terbakarnya Kapal Ferry di perairan Merak yang mengangkut penumpang yang akan menyeberang ke Lampung,” ujar Sabilul pada Senin (08/05).
“Mari kita doakan semoga semua korban dalam keadaan selamat dan selalu dalam lindungan Allah,” sambung Sabilul. Dia juga mengapresiasi seluruh Tim SAR gabungan yang terlibat.
Sejumlah netizen tampak berkomentar di akun Instagram Irjen Sabilul. Mereka mengapresiasi kerja tim SAR gabungan dalam upaya menyelamatkan para korban.
“Terima kasih bapak TNl/Polri, serta semua pihak-pihak yang telah ikut membantu evakuasi semoga tidak ada korban jiwa. Amin,” tulis salah seorang netizen.
Sebelumnya diberitakan, kapal feri KMP Royce 1 terbakar saat berlayar dari Merak ke Bakauheni, Lampung. Insiden kebakaran terjadi pada Sabtu (6/5/2023), sekitar pukul 15.45 WIB.
“PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) mengkonfirmasi bahwa telah terjadi kebakaran di KMP Royce 1 milik PT DLB pada Sabtu (6/5) sekitar jam 15.45 WIB saat pelayaran dari Merak menuju Bakauheni, Lampung,” kata Corporate Secretary PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Shelvy Arifin, dalam keterangannya, Sabtu (6/5).

Petugas bersama tim SAR gabungan langsung memadamkan api yang membakar kapal feri KMP 1 Royce. Penumpang dievakuasi petugas menggunakan ambulans dan mobil pribadi ke rumah sakit dan kantor ASDP.
“Ada yang luka dibawa ke RS, ada sebagian di ASDP,” kata Ketua Gabungan Pengusaha Angkutan Sungai, Danau, dan Penyeberangan (Gapasdap) Togar Nalitupulu di lokasi, Cilegon, Sabtu (6/5).
Sementara itu, Kepala Basarnas Banten Adil Triyanto mengatakan seluruh penumpang KMP Royce 1 yang terbakar di laut Merak selamat. Ada 10 korban luka sebagian masih di rumah sakit dan ada yang sudah kembali ke kantor ASDP.
“Tidak ada korban jiwa jadi semuanya dalam kondisi selamat walaupun ada yang luka-luka sekarang sudah dibawa ke RS dan ada yang sudah kembali ke sini (kantor ASDP). Penumpang dalam kondisi selamat, selamat semua,” kata Adil kepada wartawan di Pelabuhan Merak.

Korban yang luka-luka menurutnya akibat panik saat ada asap di kapal. Mereka lari kemudian terpeleset dan terluka.
“Luka-luka beberapa kurang lebih ada 10-an, karena sesak mungkin dia panik sehingga lari terpeleset kemudian luka,” tambahnya. (Bidhumas)
