Persiapan Polri Amankan KTT ASEAN di Labuan Bajo
JURNAL TIPIKOR — Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) menyiapkan 2.627 personel guna mengamankan penyelenggaraan Konfrensi Tingkat Tinggi ke-42 ASEAN atau ASEAN Summit pada 9 hingga 11 Mei 2023. Pelaksanaan ASEAN Summit berlangsung di Labuan Bajo, Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).
Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Sandi Nugroho mengatakan, ribuan personel Polri yang diturunkan merupakan gabungan dari Mabes Polri, Polda NTT
dan Polda NTB.
“Rencana personel yang dikerahkan yakni sebanyak 2.627 yang berasal dari Mabes Polri sebanyak 947 personel, Polda NTT 1.660 personel, dan Polda NTB 20 personel”‘ kata Sandi dalam keterangan
tertulisnya, Jumat, 28 April 2023.

Sandi mengatakan, ribuan personel tersebut akan disebar di berbagai tempat, mulai dari bandara, akomodasi para delegasi atau kepala negara yang
hadir hingga venue penyelenggaraan.
Sebelum main event tanggal 9 hingga 11 Mei, Sandi menuturkan akan ada side event yang digelar pada 7 hingga 9 Mei. Untuk side event nantinya akan menjadi
tanggung jawab penuh dari Polri.
“Polri memberikan bantuan BKO personel di ring 1, 2, dan 3. Untuk side events menjadi tanggung jawab penuh dari Polri” ujarnya.
Adapun beberapa hal yang diperkuat yakni fasilitas yang ada di Labuan Bajo. Contohnya keberadaan CCTV untuk memperkuat perngendalian dari
Command Center, dari Bandara sampai tempat acara dan akomodasi.
“Terkait dengan camera body warm, CCTV statis dan mobile bisa kita penuhi,” katanya.
Nantinya, kata Sandi, CCTV tersebut akan dilengkapi dengan teknologi face recognition guna mendeteksi daftar atau orang-orang yang dicurigai akan melakukan tindak pidana.
Dalam pengamanan ini, Polri pun akan berkoordinasi dengan stakeholders lainnya dan pihak akomodasi.
Hal ini guna memastikan apakah ada kendala yang membutuhkan bantuan
Secara keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas) di NTT, Sandi menuturkan terjadi penurunan tren kejahatan.
Beberapa hal yang menjadi
perhatian yakni meningkatknya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas dari tahun 2021 ke 2022.
