Serang,JURNAL TIPIKOR – Sosok bayi dalam kardus ditemukan warga di bawah pohon kedondong bantaran saluran irigasi di Jalan Raya Pontang – Kasemen, Kampung Sukajaya, Desa Sukajaya, Kecamatan Pontang, Kabupaten Serang pada Selasa (25/4).
Bayi berjenis kelamin laki-laki yang memiliki kelainan cacat bawaan yakni bibir sumbing ditemukan dalam kondisi sehat. Agar kesehatannya terjaga, bayi malang ini dilarikan ke puskesmas setempat.
Diperoleh keterangan, bayi yang diperkirakan baru dilahirkan itu, pertama kali ditemukan sekitar pukul 06.30 WiB, oleh SH (54) warga di sekitar lokasi penemuan bayi malang tersebut.

Bayi tanpa identitas itu ditemukan di dalam kardus, yang tertutup semak-semak tepat di bawah pohon kedondong, tak jauh dari saluran irigasi. Bayi malang itu lalu diserahkan ke Polsek Pontang dan seterusnya oleh polisi dibawa ke Puskesmas Pontang.
Kapolsek Pontang Iptu Junaedi membenarkan adanya penemuan bayi laki-laki tanpa identitas tersebut, dan saat ini masih melakukan penyelidikan terkait penemuan bayi itu. “Iya pagi tadi, telah ditemukan seorang bayi laki-laki dalam kardus, ditaruh pelaku di bawah pohon kedondong,” katanya.
Junaedi menjelaskan bayi dengan kondisi cacat di bagian bibirnya itu, sudah mendapatkan perawatan dari tim medis. “Bayi tersebut telah di amankan di puskesmas Pontang dalam rangka perawatan,” jelasnya.

Junaedi menerangkan pihaknya sedang mengumpulkan alat bukti dan keterangan saksi untuk mengungkap pelaku, yang diduga sengaja membuang bayi malang tersebut.
“Kita sedang mengumpulkan berbagai alat bukti dan juga keterangan saksi serta berkoordinasi dengan Bidang Desa, Bhabinkamtibmas, Babinsa guna melakukan penyelidikan,” terangnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Junaedi mengimbau kepada masyarakat yang mengetahui keberadaan terduga pelaku pembuang bayi itu, bisa melaporkan ke pihak kepolisian. “Kita mengharapkan kerjasama agar kasus ini cepat terungkap, maka saya mengimbau kepada masyarakat yang mengetahui pembuang bayi bisa melaporkan kepada kami,” tutupnya.
