Bandung, Jurnal Tipikor– Walikota Bandung Yana Mulyana, melantik kepengurusan KONI Kota Bandung periode 2023-2028 di Pendopo, Jl. Dalem Kaum No 56 Bandung, Rabu (29/3).
Dalam pelantikan tersebut tampak hadir beberapa pejabat penting diantaranya, Ketua DPRD Kota Bandung Teddy Rusmawan, Sekda Kota Bandung Drs. Ema Sumarna, M.Si, Kadispora kota Bandung Edi Marwoto, Sekdispora Kota Bandung Sigit Iskandar, serta Ketua KONI Prov. Jawa Barat Dr. Muhammad Budiana.
Dalam Sambutannya, Walikota Bandung Yana Mulyana Menyampaikan, ucapan terimakasih kepada Ketua KONI Kota Bandung dalam pergelaran Porprov meskipun tidak mendapat hasil sebagai juara umum tetapi atlet-atlet yang berasal dari Kota Bandung meraih prestasi, tutur Yana.

Sambutan lainnya dari Ketua KONI Jabar, Muhammad Budiana mengatakan, KONI Jabar akan mendukung kepengurusan KONI Kota Bandung yang terpilih dan berharap KONI Kota Bandung akan mendapatkan prestasi yang lebih baik dalam kegiatan Porprov di Bogor dan Atlet-atlet Kota Bandung akan berjaya di PON Aceh-Sumut, tutur Budiana
Lanjutnya, PON ke-21 akan diselenggarakan di Aceh Sumatera Utara, sedangkan kegiatan Pra PON diselenggarakan di Jawa Barat maka atlet Kota Bandung akan dipersiapkan guna mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, ungkapnya

Lanjutnya, KONI Kota Bandung telah mempersiapkan bibit atlet di Kota Bandung dengan memperbanyak Kompetisi di berbagai macam cabang olahraga guna membentuk atlet potensial untuk persiapan Porprov yang akan datang di Bogor.
