Inilah Efek Siklon Herman menurut BRIN Terhadap Perubahan Iklim di Indonesia
Jakarta, Jurnal Tipikor – Sebagian kepulauan di Indonesia saat ini masih dilanda Hujan dari sedang sampai deras, bahkan dilaporkan di wilayah Pulau Jawa masih dilanda Hujan deras.
Perubahan Iklim di Indonesia seakan tak menentu seharusnya sudah memasuki musim kemarau tapi kenyataanya masih mengalami hujan.
Menurut peneliti dari Badan Riset dan Invoasi Nasional (BRIN), Erma Yulihastin, hal tersebut adalah dampak Siklon Herman yang mendekati wilayah Indonesia.
Siklon Herman merupakan badai dengan kekuatan besar yang radiusnya rata-rata bisa mencapai 150 hingga 200km. Siklon tropis ini terbentuk di atas lautan yang biasanya memiliki perumakaan air dengan suhu hangat lebih dari 26 derajat.

Kecepatan anginnya lebih dari 63km/jam. Dalam cuitannya, Erma mengatakan siklon semacam ini sangat mengerikan dampaknya.
“Sejak dari bayi vorteks pada 23 Maret hingga menjadi raksasa siklon Herman, saya aktif mendampingi masyarakat agar mereka tahu fenomena badai ini, dan waspada dari waktu ke waktu akan dampak terburuk yang bisa terjadi,” kata dia, dikutip Jumat (31/3/2023).
Cuitannya yang menjadi viral di Twitter tersebut lantas ditanggapi beberapa warganet yang tinggal di area Jawa Timur.
“Siang hingga sore ini, sby-gresik terpantau hujan bercampur angin,” kata seorang warganet.
“Sangat benar ibu. Saya yang tinggal di daerah Lamongan beberapa hari merasakan. Pagi siang cuaca normal panas. Tapi ketika sekitar pukul 14.30 mendung hitam datang hujan deras sekali,” kata warganet lainnya.

Beda Pendapat BRIN dan BMKG Soal Siklon Herman
Di saat yang hampir bersamaan, Badan Metereologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG), menanggapi kehebohan Siklon Herman di akun Twitter resminya.
Menurut BMKG, pusaran siklon itu telah bergerak menjauh dari Indonesia pada Kamis (30/3) kemarin.
“Siklon Tropis Herman terpantau di Samudera Hindia sebelah selatan Banten,” kata BMKG dalam kicauannya.
“Diperkirakan intensitas Siklon Tropis Herman menurun dalam 24 jam ke depan dan bergerak ke arah timur – tenggara menjauhi Indonesia,” akun tersebut melanjutkan.

Hal tersebut langsung dibalas lagi oleh Erma. Agaknya BRIN dan BMKG harus berbeda pendapat lagi kali ini.
“Hanya menghitung jangkauan radius langsung dari siklon. Padahal siklon juga memberikan efek jarak jauh atau remote effect. Bisa dicek Jatim hujannya bagaimana saat ini. Tapi di peta tersebut tidak diberi warna merah,” ia menjelaskan.
Untuk itu, warga RI khususnya di area Jawa Timur diharapkan tetap waspada. Pasalnya, kendati Siklos Herman telah bergerak menjauh, namun ada dampak jangkauan radius yang tetap perlu jadi pertimbangan.
BMKG juga merinci beberapa daerah yang terkena dampak Siklon Herman.
