JURNAL TIPIKOR – Pertarungan perebutan kursi wakil rakyat DPRD Kabupaten Wajo, pada hari rabu 14 februari 2024, di Dapil I Kecamatan tempe berlangsung cukup dinamis. Hadirnya pendatang baru membuat persaingan menjadi sangat ketat, baik antar Parpol maupun Caleg.
Incumbent Partai Gerindra Kabupaten Wajo, Ir.Firman Perkesi dalam kontestasi pilcaleg 2024 berhasil mempertahankan kursinya di dapil I Tempe.
Hal tersebut diketahui dari hasil sementara poling internal berdasarkan C-1 dari saksi-saksi di setiap TPS, perolehan suara Partai Gerindra di Dapil I Tempe dipastikan meraih 1 kursi dari total 7 kursi yang diperebutkan.

Adapun di dapil I Tempe terdapat 178 TPS yang meliputi 16 Kelurahan. Dengan jumlah Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT) di dapil I Tempe ini sebanyak 48.065.
Selain di dapil I, Partai Gerindra juga berhasil meraih kursi di semua dapil di kabupaten wajo, terkhusus di dapil VI Sabbangparu – Pammana sendiri diperkirakan akan meraup 2 kursi.
Berdasarakan kemenangan diseluruh dapil, hampir dipastikan untuk pucuk pimpinan DPRD kabupaten Wajo akan dinahkodai Kader Partai Gerindra.(JT/Ikbal)
