Seperti halnya yang terjadi di jalan HZ Mustofa depan pusat perbelanjaan, Air menggenangi jalan hingga 40 centimeter membuat banyak pemotor yang kendaraannya mogok.
” Banyak motor yang mogok, akibat banjir dengan ketinggian sampai lutut orang dewasa, ” Kata salah seorang warga yang melintasi di lokasi banjir.

Penyebab banjir yang terjadi di beberapa titik jalan pusat Kota Tasikmalaya itu di duga akibat saluran drainase yang buruk.
Sementara itu petugas BPBD Kota Tasikmalaya, yang menerima laporan langsung ke lokasi untuk menanggulangi banjir dengan dengan menggunakan mesin pompa air.
Banjir masih terus meredam sejumlah titik jalan di pusat Kota Tasikmalaya hingga pukul 20.00 WIB.
