Ngawi, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Bus pariwisata yang mengangkut rombongan siswa dan guru dari SMAN 1 Sidoarjo mengalami kecelakaan di ruas jalan Tol Ngawi-Solo, Desa Ngale, Kecamatan Paron, Kabupaten Ngawi, Jawa Timur sehingga mengakibatkan satu orang meninggal dunia dan sejumlah lainnya luka-luka.
“Info awal, betul ada satu orang guru meninggal dunia,” ujar Kasat PJR Polda Jatim AKBP Alex Sandy Siregar kepada wartawan di Ngawi, Kamis.
Dia mengatakan kecelakaan itu terjadi sekitar pukul 20.30 WIB yang melibatkan bus pariwisata rombongan dari SMAN 1 Sidoarjo bernomor polisi W-7473-UP dengan truk bernomor polisi L-8216-GE. Bus itu terguling keluar dari jalan tol setelah menghindari truk de depannya yang mengalami pecah ban.
Hingga pukul 22.00 WIB, proses evakuasi oleh petugas masih berlangsung. Korban luka dievakuasi ke dua rumah sakit, yakni RS Atin Husada dan RS Widodo Ngawi yang terdekat dengan lokasi kecelakaan. Untuk korban meninggal sudah dibawa ke RSUD dr Soeroto Ngawi.
Sesuai hasil olah TKP sementara, peristiwa kecelakaan itu berawal saat bus berisi rombongan siswa dan guru dari SMA Sidoarjo melaju dari arah Ngawi menuju Surabaya. Rombongan bus tersebut dalam perjalanan pulang dari Yogyakarta.
Nahas, di lokasi kejadian ruas Tol Ngawi ada truk yang mengalami pecah ban. Truk tersebut oleng ke kanan dan pada saat bersamaan dari belakang melaju bus.
Karena jarak yang terlalu dekat maka sopir bus tidak bisa menghindari dan terjadi tabrakan. Akibat tabrakan tersebut, bus itu terguling dan keluar dari jalur tol.
Proses evakuasi cukup sulit karena selain kondisi yang gelap, juga badan bus yang terguling.
Petugas kepolisian masih menyelidiki penyebab kecelakaan tersebut dengan melakukan olah TKP dan memintai keterangan para saksi.(Ant)
