Pagaralam, JURNAL TIPIKOR – Pj Gubernur Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) Agus Fatoni, didampingi Pj Wali Kota Pagar Alam H. Lusapta Yudha Kurnia melaunching Program Pencegahan Stunting dari Bank Sumsel Babel sekaligus meresmikan Kawasan Wisata Taman Apung Kota Pagar Alam, Sabtu (16/12/2023).
Pj Wali Kota Pagar Alam dalam sambutannya mengucapkan selamat datang kepada Pj Gubernur Sumsel beserta rombongan di Kota Pagar Alam.
“Berbicara soal stunting, Alhamdulillah saat ini Kota Pagar Alam berada pada angka stunting terendah di Sumsel yakni 11,6%. Capaian tersebut tentunya tidak terlepas atas sinergitas dari semua pihak, khususnya Pemerintah Provinsi yang telah memberikan sejumlah bantuan kepada Pemkot Pagar Alam serta Bank Sumsel Babel atas CSR nya,” jelas Pj Wali Kota.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Pj Wali Kota juga mengajak semua pihak untuk terus bersinergi dan berkolaborasi dalam penanganan stunting di Kota Pagar Alam dan menargetkan untuk angka stunting di satu digit.
Sementara, Pj Gubernur Sumsel mengapresiasi Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Pagar Alam yang telah berhasil menurunkan angka stunting, sehingga menjadi yang terendah di Sumsel.
“Dengan capaian tersebut, Pemkot Pagar Alam juga berhasil mendapatkan bantuan dana insentif fiskal dari Pemerintah Pusat,” jelas Pj Gubernur.
Pj Gubernur juga mengapresiasi langkah konkrit Bank Sumsel Babel yang telah berperan dalam pencegahan stunting di Sumsel, khususnya di Kota Pagar Alam.

Setelah meresmikan, Pj Gubernur juga melakukan penebaran bibit ikan di Taman Wisata Apung dan meninjau Kantor Dekranasda Kota Pagar Alam.
